"It shouldn't be surprising. This is Los Angeles, California, and you can expect to get the best Mexican food on the most random street corner food truck or strip mall, and so I should have expected that El Michoacano had good grub. But this place has the flavor. So much so that it motivates you to get your car wash in anticipation of the yummy lunch washed down with a bottle of Jarritos! Also, not Mexican at all, I realize but I also have to give props to their crinkle cut fries that my kid loves! I feel like bad crinkle cut fries are the norm, so easy to make, and yet so easy to be generically pathetic....but they have one of the best crinkle cut fries around....crispy on the outside soft and HOT on the inside. I've had the burritos here and the plates. Their homemade sauce is so good, and their salsa is nice and spicy! And they are super friendly there, too!"
