"What a disappointment! I received a reminder about this reservation yesterday, and when we arrived today, we found the place closed. From the state of disarray visible through the windows, it looks like it won't be reopening anytime soon. It's pretty ironic since it was supposed to be a brand new restaurant. "Good food but it’s a disorganized place to order and pick up or make an in store order. Two options for the same store express and take out lead to two cashiers in the same store. They may ask for first name last name and phone number during the order. If you order in the store your receipt will have four numbers. But then comes pickup where bags appear with no way to connect to the orders. Sometimes after bags are there for a long while a staff may call out one of the pieces of information but with the din you may not hear. Often you get the wrong order. The food and marketing are great but to consume the food….that requires hope. Here is the idli dosa order that resulted in a biryani pick up! Yes that’s the situation"

"My grandmother and I came here for lunch, and I was pretty disappointed. The customer service was non existent from the start. We were only offered the buffet, weren't given utensils or cups, and no one came over to our table at all. The flavor of most of the dishes was good, however the temperature of each was inconsistent. Food from the same container varied from hot to lukewarm to cold."

"This restaurant features an extensive menu with a diverse range of dishes from all over India, many of which you won't find at other local Indian eateries. In addition to these unique offerings, they also serve some familiar favorites. As someone who enjoys Indian cuisine a lot, I was excited to discover and try new dishes during my visit. The gongura fish curry (medium spice) was outstanding, boasting bold flavors that complemented each other beautifully, along with fresh fish and just the right level of heat to give a nice kick without overwhelming the dish. The chicken chettinadu was nearly perfect, with excellent flavor and substantial pieces of chicken. The garlic naan was quite good and generously sized, though it could have been a bit softer. The menu has so much that caught my eye, and I've been thoroughly impressed so far. I'm sure I'll become a regular and continue to explore what they have to offer!"

"What can I say about food that is served from the heart, no adjective can do justice, we were visiting Denver for fall break and found this little gem, we were so glad we found such authentic Indian fare in Denver that we visited this place every single day we were there. We had barota kurma which was a flavor bomb, we had it multiple times, we also tried the potato fry, okra kaara kuzhambu and a humongous family dosa and Navratan kurma.I cannot fault them in any way, so very flavorsome, the servings were so generous and served with passion. We met the owners/ chef, and we could tell that they take pride in every plate that goes out of their kitchen. The service was great too. If you live in Denver or if you are passing by, do visit this place, you will definitely go again and again. This is a gem that cannot be missed. We hope to come again sometime soon..."

"I picked up a chicken tikka wrap, a malai kebab wrap, and a paneer roll. The wraps were good, but I was disappointed to wait an additional 25 minutes past the scheduled pickup time. It wasn't even busy at the time; they were going to close in about an hour when I placed my order. It seemed like they only started preparing my food when I arrived. Next time, I think I'll call ahead before going to the restaurant for a pickup, regardless of the scheduled time."

"Despite still being on Open-table as a currently open, available eat in restaurant, it was not! Upon arrival we were greeted by upturned chairs on all the tables, and an owner who greeted us COVID-19, protection free! (MASKLESS). My wife and I told him we had made a reservation on the open-table app, to which he responded, “not open for dine in, take out only, big fines”. We told him he should make note on open-table of his current position, and we left to find an establishment that was open for a sit down restaurant experience. "I recently ordered catering from Tamarind Greentree for an event and was truly impressed by the exceptional dining experience. Best dosa I've had since I lived in California and there was a restaurant chain that specialized in them... this is a good place to try this dish if you've never had one before. I must add GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS gluten free options Gluten Free Options to help other Yelpers looking for a restaurant experience that won't sacrifice taste or authenticity for having GF options. My only disappointment, ironically, was the GF naan and only because I ordered the garlic version, and I guess that the way it is prepared, the pieces of garlic cloves are burned in the process (if you like that overpowering burned-garlic taste go for it! . I may have been expecting a garlic butter instead based on other restaurant experiences, so my bad. Next time either plain GF naan or none at all, and I'll be saving room for a dosa! And a FULL BAR with cocktails that use a South Asian spin on the classics. Such a find and easier/faster to get to from NNJ and other parts of Rockland than you might think, plus easy strip-mall parking!"

"Absolutely the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. The plates were dirty. We reached way early than the closing time still were rushed into ordering food. After ordering we received the main course before appetizers. We could order anything else as they straight away told that the kitchen was closed even though they let a few people in after we ordered. There was hair in our food. The canned sodas were expired. We also had to go upto the reception to ask for everything. No server came to attend our table. The guy was bringing trash can to other tables while we were still eating. Terrible experience. Even Taco Bell is better and hygienic restaurant as compared to this. I would suggest you go to any other place if you want to have decent food and enjoy your meal."

You can also verify this information by checking the Food safety inspection reports on the State's official website to see the numerous violations they have had in recent years. This is not just an isolated incident. Overall, the service, atmosphere, and quality of the food were rated very poorly. I was a clean platter for sure!I can 't remember the names of the dishes, but the meat in our dishes, CHEF 'S KISS cooked to perfection. I had chicken in my dish, my son had lamb and our friend had goat. I had a taste of all 3 and they were all divine in their own unique smell and taste!The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting, service wasn 't bad but wasn 't anything above and beyond to win me over to say it was great. It was your basic food industry service. We will be back for sure though"
