The young man's name was Kenay. He was engaging, friendly, and incredibly helpful. I would happily return to this McDonald's just to see Kenay's cheerful smile again."

"This was my second experience using the drive-thru, and I was once again let down by my lunch. I ordered a Quarter Pounder meal and specifically requested no onions on my burger, but it came with onions anyway, forcing me to remove them myself. I also asked for mayonnaise, which I received, but it wasn’t actually on the burger. It felt like the person preparing my order was too distracted to pay attention. The bun was dry, the meat was cold, and the cheese didn’t even melt. To top it off, the lettuce was starting to look brown. I’m giving it two stars only because the fries were warm (not hot) and my drink was correct. What has happened? I remember when McDonald's used to be a great place to eat—hot, fresh, and reasonably priced. I understand that many employees today may come from a generation that expects convenience without putting in the effort. Good luck if you decide to use the drive-thru. If customers checked their meals before leaving, perhaps that would encourage management to improve their service. That's two strikes against the Middlesboro McDonald's."

"Genuinely the worst “fast” food restaurant I’ve ever been to. The workers have absolutely no care for anything in the world other than receiving a paycheck for being there. 15 minutes just to get past the speaker and you’re greeted by dancing, laughing, joking, or texting on their phone when you get to the window. Another 30 minutes later and you finally get your food and are able to leave. Restaurant is in a horrible state and management needs to step it up and should be ashamed."

"We stopped at The Sun on August 30, 2020, around 3 PM. I ordered a quarter pounder cheeseburger basket (without the wobble) and a Diet Pepsi, along with a fish burger sandwich. Our total came to either $11.47 or $13.47 (not that it really matters). We had to wait a few minutes to place our order, but that was okay. Once we received our order, we left and started eating down the road. Unfortunately, what we found in the bag was the quarter pounder. I checked the receipt, and it stated that it was a fish quarter pounder. We were very disappointed to discover this a few miles away, and it was too far to go back. I just wanted to express our disappointment about receiving the wrong food. It wasn't even about the price difference; my partner wanted the fish sandwich specifically. Please make sure to bring this to the attention of your staff. We were really let down by receiving the wrong order!"

"I went through the drive-thru around 4:15 PM. I ordered a Big Mac, a Happy Meal with a cheeseburger, fries, and apple juice; a Spicy Deluxe McCrispy; a medium fries; and a small fries without salt. I was told to pull up until my order was ready, so I waited while five other cars received their orders. After another 15 minutes, they finally brought my food out. I got home about 10 minutes later, only to find that all my food was cold and unappetizing. To make matters worse, I still didn't receive the 10-piece nuggets I ordered or my granddaughter's small fries. This was the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I don't think I’ll ever order from McDonald's again."

"I ordered a Big Mac Bundle Box and a triple hamburger, and I have to say, everything was not only cold but also tasted like it had been sitting out all day or was leftover from the previous night. I don't know which McDonald's the DoorDash driver picked up from, but I would definitely advise you to avoid it! The food was terrible! I ended up throwing the entire bag away. "Just went 30 min ago. I ordered strawberry pies along with some McChickens and light mayo. Ive already paid. When it came to getting my order they notified me they no longer have the strawberry pies. So they offered a set of apple pies, that's not what I wanted. What if I didn't have money and was in a budget because I got kids to take care of? Why would someone make someone feel bad like that. On top of that I wasn't given a receipt, and my McChickens were loaded with mayo, when I clearly asked for light. I hope nobody ever comes across that lady and gets the same experience."

"My recent experiences trying to find consistently good frappe options at McDonald’s locations in Monroe, West Monroe, and Bastrop had really lowered my expectations. However, today in Ruston, I ordered a chicken mocha wrap through the app, pulled up to the pick-up window, and waited for about five minutes. Suddenly, a woman appeared with a bag and a cloth. She greeted me warmly, thanked me, wished me a good day, and handed me exactly what I had ordered, along with some napkins and even a straw. I didn't have to reassemble my food or go home to fix it up. I also didn't have to fight for a refund because they actually had what I ordered (or more accurately, they chose to prepare it). This was truly a 5-star experience!"

"McDonald's is still McDonald's! You get what you pay for. I'm not too fond of the new layout because it seems like the wait times have increased. Plus, you can no longer get refills on soda since they’ve moved the soda machine behind the counter. They’ve brought back the Steak-Egg and Cheese Bagel, but it's not the same as the original that I used to enjoy (a lot!). I also didn’t like the way the soft drinks were served. In some locations, you even have to place your order on a touchscreen kiosk. I’ve tried using that thing, but as a senior (or as some might say, an "old head"), I'd prefer to interact with a real person! I suggest that upper management at McDonald's consider some changes in their corporate strategy to avoid losing more market share to competitors. Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback. "So disappointed and frustrated with this location. Aside from the fact that they literally do not offer Root Beer (but it 's available to order on the app), they are so disorganized. It 's chaos. Doing renovations is fine and great, but when a group ofpeople make their own orders online we 're obviously going to pick it up inside. But then we walk in (lobby is unlocked) and theytell us the lobby is closed. We already placed the orders so we have to go through the drive thru. They have no idea what to dowhen we say we have 4 mobile orders and just tell us to pull forward. We pull forward and they only give us two of the ordersand only half of mine. They don 't know what to do again, another worker comes to the window and says It 's because you didn 'ttell them your order number before. No, we tried to, you told us to just pull forward. They give us the other order after a fewminutes and tell us thanks and to have a good day. I still did not have the other half of my order. It 's not too complicated toturn off options like in-store pickup when your lobby is closed or certain menu items when you literally do not stock them.Taking a long hiatus from this location until they get their sh*t together (so probably permanently)."
