"Since this is a bakery, I can't comment on their cake orders since I haven't tried one. However, I did sample a pumpkin empanada from the dollar case, which also contains cake pops and macarons, but unfortunately, I discovered mold on it. The owner noticed it, apologized, and promptly refunded my money, which I appreciated. I think it would be beneficial for them to concentrate more on cake making rather than the everyday items. Many students from Salinas High School visit this bakery, and we definitely want to avoid any risk of them getting sick from preventable issues like this. While made-to-order food may not have this problem since it’s freshly prepared, the items in the display case sit out for a while, which could explain the mold issue."
