"We visit this restaurant often and are always pleased. We come with our kids sometimes and other times just the adults. The outdoor seating area is lovely and the lunch menu offers great value and delicious combinations. The dinner menu has a wide variety of options to choose from. The sushi is always fresh and although the selection is limited, it is still good."

"I wasn't particularly impressed with the food. The taco meat was bland and seemed to lack any noticeable seasoning. The pork tamales were decent but also suffered from the same issue with the meat. The portion sizes were very generous, larger than I anticipated. My wife enjoyed her taco salad, but she had the same problem with the unseasoned meat. The prices were surprisingly good, which I didn't expect at all. Overall, it's not the worst Mexican food I've had, but it won't be my go-to for a Mexican dinner."

"Love this restaurant and the food, but this time I didn't. I don't know if is a different chef, but the food didn't taste the same. My husband and I always order a Molcajete and appetizer to share, and this time the Molcajete was dry and no has tasty as it always been. Also the chorizo that was in the plate this time, look and taste more like Italian sausage instead of Mexican chorizo, which is really good, and my favorite, there was barely cheese and sauce as it usually is. So I came to the conclusion that is definitely not the same chef, maybe I am wrong but this time I didn't like the food. Everything else was good, music as always...exceptional!!!"

"The food at this restaurant was over-salted with table salt and had a strong taste of salt. However, the Shrimp Mei Fun was exceptional. I was not able to finish more than half of my plate. When I asked to speak to the manager, she apologized and gave me a $5 refund, but did not offer to replace my meal so I left feeling hungry. The miso soup was enjoyable, but the hot and sour soup was not. The egg rolls, shrimp with broccoli, and sesame chicken were all good. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant and I do not plan on returning. It was not worth the price."

"Love this spot! As soon as you walk in , you are greeted with a smile and an Aloha! welcome. THE SERVICE: The host/manager (Jeffrey is very prompt about greeting you and also seating you. I was able to witness this over and over as it got busier and busier throughout the breakfast 'rush hour '. Service was very consistent for all the workers there. You can tell they run a tight ship! I was very impressed at the 5 star excellent service I received. As soon as I sat down I was greeted by another service/hostess/waitress who took my drink order within like 30 seconds of me sitting down. My Waitress (Heather was very attentive, friendly and on top of it. THE FOOD: There were so many delicious looking options on the menu , but I opted for the Omelette. It came with my choice of hash brown or rice, and pancake or waffle. (I ordered hash brown and ? waffle SO ONO!!!!! I would fly back to Hilo just to eat this same thing. The homemade whipped butter was to die for. It went beautifully with the soft but just crispy enough waffle THE PARKING: Lots of parking available in the parking lot next to restaurant. It 's a one way so you can loop around to find more Parking."

"We order from here all the time. Last weekend we got a no-show delivery. They claim it was delivered but I definitely fed my kids PB&J for dinner due to no pizza. Restaurant dug their heels in, I didn't even want my money back, just an apology. Said they would call me to talk about it and never did. Mostly just disappointed : Edit: Brother’s replied to this review and I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt that something went wrong this particular evening. I wrote this review from a place of frustration. Updated from 2 to 4 stars."

"This was a bit of a hole in the wall restaurant, but service was excellent. We ordered fresh spring rolls and requested them vegetarian. They made them exactly to order. They included a side salad with peanut sauce dressing with dinner meal. We also ordered Cashew chicken they asked what level of spice and nailed it. It had good flavor and the portion was large. My wife and I split the dinner and both were full. Pleasant experience."

"We were exciting because we'd heard that Spring Rolls was highly gluten-free friendly. While it's true, what you'll sacrifice is taste. All four of the people in our party are allergic to gluten. The restaurant was truly friendly about accommodating us and said they could prepare any item on the menu to be gluten free. However, all in our party were disappointed with the bland taste and lack of flavor. All of the sauces substituted chicken broth for the sauce that should have been served. The house fried rice has a heavy seafood taste that was unpleasant. The Pad Thai was heavily spiced, but unbalanced since it was made with a chicken stock sauce. The non-gluten food looked delicious, especially the egg rolls and potstickers. The General Tso's chicken looked spectacular. Our dinner guests didn't care for the non gluten-free wonton soup. Overall, better than average Chinese food in Raleigh, which isn't saying much, but I expected much better."

"I had a very good feeling about Mel?s as soon as we walked in. It appeared that Mel was back there training some new employees. The place was clean and organized. I got a good feeling about Mel's. I decided to get the ultimate cheesesteak. The ultimate cheesesteak is a filet mignon cheesesteak. It has a $16.95 price tag. That should have been a flashing red beacon of ?Jim don't get this cheesesteak.? The meat was very good. I repeat, the meat was very good. I don't think the other stuff worked with the meat. The roll was pretty traditional. It had a Mel made cheesy combination of American cheese and Wiz, I thought this was too much. I think the great meat only needed complementary pieces. We took our Cheesesteak to 2SP Brewing Company. Next time we'll go straight to Aston Abbey. How can you dislike very good filet mignon?"

When you walk in its different with bellyful decorating all around and a very small and comfortable dining area in the back. Music Gipsy King was perfect with worm casual ambiance. When walked in we were greeted by a gentleman in front, who escorted us to our table. "Loved it. Really good and fresh sushi. My only “wish” is that they had about more nigiri and not just rolls. The rolls were great and very creative but I like to balance rolls with a piece or two of really good, fresh nigiri. We tried the Mahomes roll and volcano roll. Both very creative and really good. Also tried their Tom Ka Kai soup which was out of this world. Their fruit sushi was a fun dessert. We’ll definitely return."

"Last night I called to place an order about 15 minutes before 9 no one answered my phone call. I proceeded on to the store where the doors were still unlocked at 8:49 so I walk my pregnant self in to place a quick to go order(1 California roll) which I had tried to call ahead to place was denied food because the workers had already put everything up. I proceeded to tell them that I had called ahead and very rudely they told me that I was to late they would not be taking my order. I explained to them I came a very long way(from Piedmont) to satisfy a craving and that the restaurant says they did not close until 9. They looked away from me and continued to gossip and ignore me. I am not happy with the service crew at all. If they closed at 8:49 then why were the doors still unlocked when the sign says they close at 9. I only wanted what one server quoted as, “the quickest thing to make on the menu!”The Sushi Chef Kera, was AMAZING in resolving my issue! Thank you so much for the quick response! I will definitely continue eating and dining with you guys!"
