"Me and my wife order the fajita with shrimp. The shrimp was Delicious but the fajita was dry no flavor we had to drown it it salsa just to eat it we was stuck in traffic on I 10 we was hungry so we looked up restaurants went there and that's the only reason we eat our food any other time I would have complain about how bad the food was. The fajita taste like that package fajita from Walmart was awful ? maybe the have good dishes but the fajita was bad . We didn't even take a to go plate .the music the had was so depressing,we said something and they didn't do anything about it. If I'm ever in that area again I will never stop there. And it's so dark in there I like to see where I'm walking"

"Atmosphere was great! Our waitress was awesome... always making sure our drinks were filled and very attentive. I got chicken tenders which tasted good and perfectly cooked, but batter seemed a little salty. Sweet potato waffle fries were a little overcooked and too much salt was added. I recommend to ask for no salt. Everyone else in my party loved their food, but also thoughtchicken was a little salty."

"To make matters worse, I was still charged for the appetizer after returning it untouched. When I inquired about it, the waitress rudely told me they wouldn't take it off the bill just because I didn't like it. She never offered to suggest something else or check if I needed anything. Instead, she rolled her eyes and became visibly annoyed as my friend tried to help her 5-year-old son choose a side for his kids meal. When I mentioned that I wouldn’t be returning, her response was, "That's fine, you don’t have to tip me either." I was polite the entire time, which made her behavior even more frustrating."

"We used to enjoy coming here for Sunday brunch, but we were disappointed when they suddenly started offering champagne. "I’m originally from Long Island, was not a sushi fan until a girlfriend introduced me to it, I’m single now, but still like sushi from time to time. Had a hard time finding a place I liked since moving to NC, the rolls tend to be wider and thinner than I’m used up and I find it less suited for chopsticks. This establishment makes it the way I like, longer, tightly-rolled, easy to use with chopsticks and to dip in soy sauce.Been here a few times for both dine-in and takeout, I’m always satisfied. Best sushi place I’ve been to in NC and I’ve tried many."

"Pakwaan is truly exceptional. We absolutely love the food here! We've experienced their inviting atmosphere and the customer service is top-notch. We usually opt for online delivery, and they've never made a mistake with our orders, which is something we can't say about other restaurants we've tried through DoorDash. They really pay attention to spice levels, so if you enjoy curry but aren't a fan of spicy food, they will prepare it mild for you! "First time here and the service was the best part of the experience. BUT, when it came down to the food, everything was pretty subpar. I had the ‘camarones a la diabla’. The rice for all of the platters was SO dry. Pretty sure it was a day or two old and they just reheat it over and over again so it ends up really dry. Their shrimp was definitely over cooked as well—was very chewy. Their chicken was good a long with their baked potato. Their “ribeye” wasn’t all that great either—pretty sure it was a flank steak. No sear, and contained SO much fat. Seasoned fries were good at least. Their chips were yummy but their salsa was just salsa (not spicy at all). Overall, not a huge fan of their food, but the server was great. He was very kind and attentive to everyone there."

"Staff were friendly, and the decor is very (stereo)typical for a Mexican restaurant. The food is solid, if unremarkable again, exactly what you'd expect from a super typical Mexican restaurant in the southeastern US. I will say the entrees were much better than the appetizer salsa, which had me worried about the quality of the rest of the menu. The margarita pitcher we got also tasted a bit weak/made with a mix, but maybe the individual cocktails fare better."

"I ordered delivery through DoorDash and my wait time was about 60 minutes. I had no complaints since it was 11:30 on a Sunday. I ordered beef nachos and a steak burrito, both of which were well worth the price. The burrito was large and the nachos were packed with toppings. The burrito could have used a bit more flavor, but they didn't skimp on the steak and there were plenty of ingredients. The nachos were delicious and the prices were fair. I definitely recommend this place and give it five stars."

"I visited the restaurant and, like many Mexican places, there are definitely standout dishes on the menu. As a newcomer, I wasn’t sure what to choose. We all ordered different items, and while none of them became our favorite, the food was quite enjoyable. It’s the kind of place that, if you know what to order, could lead to an even better experience. "This place has gone downhill so much within the last year. The food and service used to be super good but now (even after not going for months), everything is so much worse. The food itself is decent at best, the service is incredibly slow and bad. The server our table had had bloodshot eyes and was, we’re pretty sure, on drugs. He was slurring words and wasn’t there at all! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! Guys, just avoid this place. There’s so many new Mediterranean restaurants now, just go there."

"Not a ton of options for vegans as all curries made with fish sauce or most noodles come with egg 3 charge to get it without egg). I ordered the only noodle dish with tofu (Rama noodle) that came without egg and it had a ton of veg with it but the peanut sauce was a little overpowering. I’d recommend this place if you are really in the mood for Thai and don’t mind paying extra for the removal of egg from your dish. We also got a spring roll and it was pretty small for the cost."
