"We noticed many reviews mentioning that, despite its appearance, this place serves really good food, so we decided to give it a shot. On a positive note, the gentleman behind the counter was quite friendly, and our food was prepared quickly; however, the overall experience was quite disappointing.
We initially attempted to use the drive-thru (the letters on the sign were falling off), but after realizing it was only a pick-up window, we opted to go inside. The interior was stripped of tables, leaving a bare space with a visibly dirty floor. We ordered the bourbon chicken and chicken chow mein.
Unfortunately, every piece of chicken in the bourbon chicken was dry and shaped like a sickle, sitting on a bland bed of rice with minimal sauce. As for the chicken chow mein, it resembled overly boiled chicken in a gelatinous cabbage soup that had a concerning wobble. It had a sour smell and taste.
We understand the differences between east and west coast chow mein, and what we received was just an unappetizing third variation. Perhaps their other dishes are better, but we won’t be returning to find out."
