"We had dinner on a Sunday evening around 5:30 PM. The restaurant was not overly busy. The wait staff was attentive. The scenery/ambience is “Lowcountry coastal“ with views of the intercoastal. It has a screened in porch, as well as an inside dining area, as well as outside tables, so a nice selection of dining experiences depending on your preference and the weather. I had the jambalaya which was good, but not typical and that it was not in any sauce but rather had cheese over the top of it, more like a casserole than a stew. Another diner had the crabcakes and thought that they had a bit too much filler and not enough crab. The alligator bites appetizer wasn’t too bad but was a little bit tough. About 150 bucks all in for 3 diners including one alcoholic drink each. So, a touch pricey for what you got, but not outrageous."
