"I recently visited East Lansing from California, and Indian cuisine is one of my absolute favorites—especially the spicy dishes! During my stay in Okemos, I decided to try Persis Indian Grill, ordering the chicken vindaloo with extra spice. Unfortunately, I was let down twice by that choice. However, I’m glad I made the decision to check out Swagath as it truly delivered! The flavors were incredible and the spice level was just right. It’s been a challenge to find genuinely spicy and authentic Indian food, so I’m thrilled I gave this restaurant a shot. This will definitely be my go-to spot whenever I'm in town. Thank you for not being afraid to bring on the spice!
That said, the rice was a bit of a letdown and didn't meet my expectations compared to what I’m used to in California. I like my rice cooked to perfection, but aside from that, everything else was excellent! The young man who took our order was very friendly and welcoming. I can’t wait to try more of your delicious dishes. Thank you!"
