"Great place on the river with outdoor seating and live music. Food is ok. Garlic cheese curds were yummy, the jumbo (no exaggeration there) pretzel twist was huge, and Im told, very good. My burger was a bit overcooked, but it had good flavor. My girlfriends had similar views (unercooked sweet potato waffle fries, undercooked burger). But overall, the food wasn't bad. Our server was fantastic and did well with our large group and all of her other tables. I love the location and live music on the river, so that really makes up for the subpar food. We'll be back! "I first visited Local on the Water with my family, and we had so much fun we never wanted to leave! I loved it so much, I went back on my solo trip, and even took my friends on my most recent trip there. The bands have been phenomenal every time I’ve been, the food and service are great, and the ambiance both outside and inside is incomparable. There are several bars so even if you have to wait for a table you can grab a drink and enjoy the band, and when the sun starts to go down, you wish you could just freeze time it’s so beautiful. I will come here every time I’m in Myrtle Beach and am already counting down the days until I get to go back!"

"Came in hoping to have a nice mid week dinner and felt like we were eating in a middle school cafeteria. No adult supervision at all except for the cook. A group of 4 unruly pre- adolecent boys came up to our table and asked if we could smell their farts. They proceeded to help themselves to the beverage dispenser and were jumping up on the counter and over it where food was placed. I had to use my teacher voice to tell them to go away. Obviously I can only assume they were related to one of the employees and hanging out. No wonder there were only 2 tables with customers . Tables were not cleared of dirty dishes. Sadly, will not come back and will be curious to see how long this establishment will stay in business."

"It's definitely a bar, but it also offers casual dining and fantastic specials! I ordered the chicken club wrap with fries for $9.99, and it was delicious—checking all the boxes for a great meal. My lunch companion had the boneless wings (in garlic parmesan and BBQ), and I tried both; they were spot on! If you have dietary restrictions, the meals are made to order, and they seemed very willing to customize any of the dishes I looked at. Parking is easy and conveniently located right by the entrance. As for kid-friendliness, I can't speak for the evenings and weekends, but lunchtime was definitely family-friendly. Lastly, the restaurant is completely wheelchair accessible."

"My family of 7 was there unannounced on a Friday Afternoon and was very impressed with the service and meal. We all ordered off the menu each with different menu food items, the orders came out correct and the meals each were delivered in a very nicely prepared arrangement. "I’m usually skeptical about pretzel bread being tough and hard to eat, but that was definitely not the case here! The bread was soft, doughy, and absolutely delightful. We enjoyed pretzel bread roast beef with salad, pizzas, and a grilled cheese sandwich made with center-cut pretzel bread (which I’ve never encountered before). Everything was fantastic!
