"To make matters worse, the customer service was terrible. When I spoke to the manager about my awful food experience, we ended up arguing for 30 minutes over the phone, and he was extremely rude and unprofessional. All this just to defend the restaurant, while I was left with bad food and poor service. J Beez, you've lost my business and my recommendation for good.
In response to the owner's comments, just because the food is classified as Turkish doesn't mean it should lack flavor or be treated unprofessionally. How is sharing an honest review considered bullying or harassment? My right to free speech allows me to express my genuine experience. I have dined at many restaurants, and not all of them have been good; not all have been bad either. I have always paid full price for my meals, and as a customer, I have the right and responsibility to provide an honest review.
It seems this establishment struggles with accepting honesty and constructive criticism. I'm not going to write a falsely positive review just to appease anyone, especially when such reviews seem to be common online. It's curious that the owner is so troubled by my single negative review when there are plenty of good ones as well. Why does my bad review bother you so much?
Additionally, my reviews of other restaurants do not make my experiences with yours any less valid. Anyone who appreciates genuine reviews can see that. If anyone is bullying or harassing, it seems to be the owner of this establishment."
