"Our chef, Daniel, was fantastic and funny. The staff was so considerate and sweet. I forgot they put mushrooms in the soup and the server brought a fresh one, but he told our chef, Daniel, that too so our meal didn't include it (and yes I forgot to tell them for my hibachi meal. It was really awesome for that communication to already have happened!)Oh and I'm not sure our price was accurate because we ordered like a lot of food for 2 people. He had steak, chicken, lobster, and shrimp. I had steak, lobster, and scallops (but I took some of his shrimp), plus the fried rice, vegetables, dragon roll and sushi roll so pretty pricey but so so so so so so good!"

"This was my first time dining here and I was extremely impressed and inspired by the flow of the staff.The entire restaurant filled up shortly after my party arrived.The service team was short staffed leaving only 2 servers and 1 sushi chef. These 3 teammates were phenomenal. It was clear that the odds were stacked against them with all tables filled and only 2 servers. Both servers were on top of everything. And the sushi chef would serve and support tables when she wasn’t preparing sushi.These 3 teammates should be highly commended on their ability to stay calm, committed and cheerful as they held down the fort like true professionals.Some of our food did come late which we expected given the circumstances. And yet, I couldn’t hold it against them as I watched them never missing a beat, completely focused on ensuring everyone was cared for. All 3 staff members had a warmth about them that was genuine.Even under the circumstances it was the best experience I’ve had in a restaurant in a long time."

"My husband and I just ordered from this place tonight we've been wanting to try it bc we love Chinese. We both ordered scallion chicken. It was hands down the most disgusting Chinese food we've ever had in our entire lives and we eat it often from many different places. It was huge mystery meat pieces of chicken and it tasted like it had been frozen and heated in the microwave. We both just ate the rice, the chicken was totally inedible. It was so horrifyingly bad I don't know how they're in business. I don't like leaving bad reviews but we paid $32 for two scallion chickens and now that's wasted in the trash. For the price they charge for CHINESE TAKEOUT you simply cannot be this bad."

"Don Simon and his wife are really nice. The young lady who usually checks people out is too. Pastries are Devine. Some of their servers are rude. They speak rudely about customers in Spanish. I myself experienced this and caught the server off guard when I confronted her in Spanish. Her behavior was totally inappropriate, she believed otherwise because she thought I didn't speak Spanish. I can imagine what she must say around those who don't speak Spanish...."

"Visited this place for the first time 06-17-22 with my mom since I've lived in this area 4yrs now and i normally drive on another side of town to get hibachi i figured since i had already did my research and read the reviews, I seen the crowd that this place has had over the years as i passed by, I felt confident in dinning in this place... And it was a big mistake, I felt like i was having an outer body experience. My mom and I wanted to leave shortly after arriving but we stayed because we wanted to have the same experience as everyone else who has left a 5 star review. The food was TERRIBLE unfortunately, the appetizers i had the scallop and asparagus wrapped in bacon which was very bland and my one little asparagus which was over cooked and soggy it was truly a joke for $14, my mom had a seaweed and cucumber salad which stole the show sorry no pictures of that because we murdered it lol the main course food was disgusting vegetables once again limp, soggy, burnt and over cooked, the soup which i normally enjoy was very bland and tasteless, the rice was undercooked and felt like i was eating rocks. Because for the price and with everything being so expensive i was expecting 5 star experience which we did not receive. I will never dine at this restaurant again. Was totally a waste of money."

"Had a great brunch here. The wife had huevos rancheros and I had the vegetarian burrito, both were great. They are currently repainting the outside and it is looking great. Plenty of seating and a flat out amazing amount of tequilas to choosefrom. Indoor and outdoor seating. A nice bar inside also. Very friendly staff, and a very clean restaurant. Reasonable prices,and relaxing atmosphere. Well worth the stop. Stopped back by. Outside painting is done. Meals and plates are amazingstill. One of my favorite Boulder places to eat! (Another update) Once again an amazing meal. I had the spinach enchiladas andthe misses had nachos. Both were flat out amazing. This restaurant has been spot on every meal I have had here. They have ahuge selection of food and drinks. EVERY plate I have eaten here has been amazing. A very clean restaurant with very friendlystaff. One of my favorite places in Boulder to eat! (Update) Stopped by for dinner with the wife and in-laws. Once again, trulyamazing food. The staff are amazing, friendly, and made us feel more than at home. If you haven’t tried this place, you aremissing out."

"The food here is excellent, and the portions are generous. I highly recommend the Salmon Hibachi. The rice and vegetables are incredibly flavorful, especially when paired with the YumYum Sauce. I wasn’t quite a fan of the chicken, but the Lamb Chops were well-cooked and tender; they just needed a bit more seasoning or a longer marination. Despite that, I still recommend you give it a try!"

"The Philly sandwich was served piping hot and fresh, with great seasoning, just like the wings. I was pleasantly surprised by how juicy the wings were while still maintaining their crispiness. The fries were also good and crispy, though I didn’t eat many of them. For $15, I got a Philly, five wings, fries, and a drink, which is a decent deal. However, the dining room itself is quite ordinary."

"The wontons were tasty, and the rice was okay, though again, not very flavorful. The vegetable portions were quite small. Given my experience, I probably won’t be ordering from here again. I only chose this place because my favorite restaurant was closed, and I thought I might give it a shot. On the positive side, their egg rolls were good. In summary: great appetizers, mediocre entrées, limited options for special requests, and they do not honor requests made in advance, so it might be best to skip that part."

"My wife brought me a plate home today and I have to say this is by far the worst hibachi in hot springs. That is saying a lot because most of the hibachi place here in town are terrible enough as it is. The rice was rock hard and every bite was crunchy not to mention they don't dress the rice at all. Everything else was bland as could be, zero flavor. They did cook the meat well but that doesn't make up for how terrible everything tasted. Also about an hour after I ate I threw everything up. If you are craving hibachi and this is the only place open then PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE! YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED!"
