"Do not eat at El Charro in Farmington, Minnesota if you don't want your food to be overly salty. As someone who has been eating Minnesota Mexican food for over 34 years, this was the worst experience I've ever had. Every item we ordered was saturated with salt, from the chips to the ground beef in the taco. The service was also disappointing, with the waitress making us feel like we were an inconvenience. Despite being the only table at 2:30 p.m. on a Friday, we still tipped over 20 percent. We had to change servers halfway through, and the overall service was spotty. To make matters worse, there were dead flies on the window sill and live flies buzzing around our table the entire time. It was a very disappointing experience, and we will never eat at El Charro again."
