"I absolutely love going to this place on Sundays in the late morning/early afternoon. They're open until 2:00 on Sundays for breakfast and lunch and they have a good variety of options whether you're craving a breakfast item a lunch item vegetarian or meat there is something for everyone. I like their espresso bar and their cocktails taste delicious. I don't usually go with the traditional items on their regular menu. I typically take advantage of their specials because they're unique and tasty. Their tomato bisque and grilled cheese is definitely worth a try! I know it sounds simplistic but they do it really well. Warm inviting staff environment and food."

"We stopped at this restaurant on our way to Cleveland. The server was extremely friendly. Unfortunately, there was a mistake in my wife's order, but the server apologized and even comped the meal. Everyone makes mistakes, but it's how they handle them that shows the quality of a place. They did everything they could to rectify the situation promptly. The food was very good overall."

"Ordered carnitas tacos. Portions were good. Sauces they offered were filled half up, but they were good. The tacos had peppers and tomatoes as toppings, with slices of lime for each taco. I ended up slicing up my own limes. The meat was ok. Not the most tender carnitas I’ve had.I got the tacos as a BOGO offer so I only paid half price for them. I would describe these as the most mid tacos I’ve ever had. Not bad, not great. I would not consider them worth the price listed for them, but if you were someone on earth who never had tacos in their life before you’d think these were the best thing God has to offer.Parking: Street parking"

"If I could give zero stars I would. We placed our order with Michelle and she was very rude. Then we had to wait a while for our food which wouldn't had been so bad if the experience was better in the beginning. We got home and started to eat and quickly discovered that the food had no flavor. It was very bland. The fries were dry and literally a four year old could have prepared a better meal! I called and spoke to Beni who claimed to be the Store Manager. He offered a 10% discount and a free drink on my next visit! That's sad and honestly why the hell would we come back?! We wasted almost $40 on garbage!!! Worst seafood place in Jacksonville hands down! I want a full refund and it would be nice if someone over these people would contact me."

"I absolutely adore this restaurant! It has a cozy small-town diner atmosphere and serves delicious food for both breakfast and lunch. I highly recommend trying the fruit toppings on the pancakes or waffles, especially the blueberry - it's my favorite! For vegetarian options, if you consume eggs and dairy, you'll have plenty of breakfast choices. The restaurant is very kid-friendly, as families bring their little ones here often. Parking may not be right in front of the building, but there is plenty of parking available on both sides with a very short walk to the front door."

The restaurant is on the smaller side, but they have outdoor seating available. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I like to think of this place as a mix between IHOP and Bill's. When other restaurants are crowded, this place is a great option for a tasty meal. It's a perfect spot for a family breakfast."

"The name of this restaurant suggests it’s a high-end, five-star establishment, but the reality is a cozy, family-friendly spot with better-than-average prices and tasty food. The service and staff truly deserve a five-star rating! The Gator Bites were absolutely delicious, and the spread that accompanies the crackers was fantastic—especially when paired with a few drops of Crystal Hot Sauce. My wife loved the chowder and the roasted oyster dinner, while I enjoyed the fried shrimp. Everything was cooked to perfection. Our server, Harley, was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. It's been a part of the community for 29 years, which speaks volumes about its quality. I’ll definitely be coming back!"

"Hidden gem!! This place is down home country...in the best way! The staff will accommodate you as far as possible and with a spirit of service that leaves you feeling hugged from the inside out. Comfort eating...my favorite kind! Nothing fancy...just good old home cooking that's cooked perfectly. Although, the honey grilled have slices are definitely delicious! I will say, most people on here love their potatoes......I did not. They were dry and not seasoned at all but maybe we caught them on a bad day. Still Wren's Cafe is 1,000% better then IHOP or Denny's or almost any other breakfast and/or lunch restaurant. Again, the service here is Everything! "

"Everything surpassed my expectations. The Captain's Platter offers an abundance of food, and I have no regrets about indulging! Each dish was cooked to perfection, fresh, and absolutely delicious. "Disappointing experience. The server came at once and brought my 2 year old juice immediately without asking me, her mother. Luckily they didn 't charge for it but I see in the menu they could have. The server didn 't know what mac and cheese was, so I had to point to macaroni and cheese on the menu. The sign that brought us in said $8.99 Special Omelet Seniors 10% Off. I was happy to go in for an $8.99 omelet and after consuming a coffee found out the special was French toast. The sign meant seniors get 10% off omelets. Don 't want to ruin the business with less than 4 stars but won 't return."

"1st time eating there and out older lady with darker hair was our waitress and she seemed crabby and made us feel unwanted and rushed, we asked a few questions on the menu and she acted huffy puffy about it, we explained it was our 1st time eating there so we had no clue what it was..we got out food right away and the portions were huge and food was terrific, but sadly I give the waitress a one atar as her addutude sucked..she seemed to be less crabby towards the end, we always leave a good tip, as that's not eight but sure didn't feel like we should of..."
