"Although we couldn't reach anyone by phone to check if it was open, we decided to stop by on a Wednesday evening around 6:30 before a show at the Count Basie. Upon entering, we noticed only a small number of people at the bar and no one at the tables. I had to rely on the positive Yelp reviews. It appeared that two staff members were working, one of whom seemed to be the manager and chef. The menu offered a nice variety, and the service was both attentive and friendly. We were impressed with the generous and delicious guacamole. The entrees were beautifully presented, with an array of items on the plate: fish, rice, corn, salad, vegetables, Brussels sprouts, and asparagus, all served on a large platter. You could tell a lot of care went into the presentation of the food. I will definitely return; this place is a hidden gem that truly deserves recognition."
