"I'm not sure why popular restaurants are often automatically deemed authentic, but this one truly is—and it's fantastic. If you're looking for Americanized Chinese food, this is not the place for you. They do offer some American dishes that are good, but with such incredible Sichuan cuisine available, why would you choose anything else? It might be a bit pricey, but it's in line with the area, and the quality and portions definitely justify the cost. Sharing several dishes is a great idea since some items are on the smaller side. The dumplings are a must-try, and the staff is friendly and helpful with any questions you might have. Vegetarians will also find plenty of options here. I can't wait to return!"

"I am delighted to have dinner from your restaurant tonight, especially after missing out during the pandemic. Your food is always delicious, hot, and perfectly cooked. We drive from Canandaigua just to enjoy your meals and will continue to do so as long as you are open. Keep up the excellent work and friendly service. I adore you."

"I ordered from here for lunch one day maybe it's a different experience for delivery vs eating in but I was disappointed. Dumplings were average the sauce was very good! I would say that for the price of the dumplings, these were good. Just a heads up that their egg drop soup has tofu that threw me for a loop. The egg drop soup also wasn't very flavorful, probably needed some salt/pepper but appreciate how it was up to the person eating on how much they wanted to add. I also ordered the sesame chicken, which was delicious, but a little expensive. I can't comment on the service or ambiance, as I ordered delivery."

"This was my FIRST time ordering and will be my LAST!!! I ordered a lunch special and ask what comes in fried rice? I was told carrots, peas and onions. I ask for NO ONIONS. Due to falling this morning and hurting my knee my neighbor went to pickup food for me. When, I opened it. The rice had NOTHING in it!!! I called and spoke to manager. He apologized and said he would talk to kitchen staff. He didn't offer to make it right. I said, I didn't get what, I ordered or paid for. He then said, I could get a Free egg role on my next order. Why should, I have to pay for more food to be compensated for their error. I only went there due to China Cafe being g closed on Monday's. I had no intention of going back ESPECIALLY how this was handled!!! Finally told me I could bring the rice back and exchange it. I explained, I was hurt as to why, I didn't pick up to begin with. We are talking about RICE .How much could that cost to replace?? Really!!! I said, I was hungry and was going to eat it but could take a picture to show no vegetables were in it. He said that wasn't their policy. Ok well you being SO CHEAP and uncooperative just cost you more than that .50. Their food isn't as good as China Cafe and Customer Service sucks too!!! Wish,I could post picture. ."

"This is hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants in the Twin Cities. They opened many years ago in a shopping mall at the front of our neighborhood. We frequently went there to grab dinner and were always satisfied completely with the service andmost of all THE CONSISTANCY OF THE FOOD. Having moved 15 miles from them 10 years ago, we still drove down several times peryear to enjoy their food. When my daughter and I went for lunch yesterday, she at 21, said to me: You know why Mei Wei issuch a great restaurant dad? Because there food is always consistent. It always tastes exactly like you expect it to. What achip off the old block...I 've been telling her for years that this is the most important quality a restaurant can have. Ownersare friendly and courteous. Service is always good. If you have time to venture out and drive to get here, or if you live in thesouth metro this will not be a wasted trip! Head to Mei Wei and enjoy a well prepared, flavorful, and consistent meal! Ihighly recommend trying the Pan Fried Dumplings, Singapore Fried Rice Noodles, and Mushu Pork!"

"When we arrive you had standard seating in side reservation and when our table was ready were told we were going to be sat outside which was super cold out and not what are reservations were for, then we’re brought to a table no menus nothing and wasn’t greeted by a server for over 10min until I went up to the bar and asked what was going on then we finally got our server and Molly was great she was kind sweet and patient and nothing leading up to it was her fault . We then order and while waiting for our food the hostess come up to our table and tells up we’re going to need to get up because the table we were seated at by them was for reserved reservation which mind you we had then I had to tell her absolutely not how un enjoyable out experience has been and she brush us off like whatever attitude… I would not recommend this place at all under staff not prepared for events or large crowds food was cold when it arrived and not good at all!! The only thing that was enjoyable was Molly our server she was doing what ever she could to make better of the situation but as a whole would not recommend ever going there!!!! Horrible!!!!"

"This restaurant has restored my faith in delicious Chinese food. We ordered special fried rice and sweet and sour chicken, both of which arrived hot. The chicken was crispy and served in a generous portion. The Crab Rangoon was also hot and very flavorful. We opted for takeout, and both the restaurant and the delivery driver did an excellent job. After several disappointing experiences with Chinese food in Broward, I’m thrilled to have finally found a place that gets it right. I will definitely be ordering again!"

"jerry always makes an excellent job at t he hibachi and keeps us entertained. our waitress, on the other hand, must learn not to remove all teaglass (6 in total) from the table to refill at the same time. I specifically asked her how she would remember whose glass was, and she about how she would remember, she returned and obviously did not remember how the one who had not requested any lemon (allergic) that received glass with a lemon on the floor. she also brought a person a dr. pepper with ice after repeated ordering several times dr. pepper no ice. other than this, our experience was great"

"Extremely disappointed. My wife and I have eaten here 20 times and always enjoyed our experience. They never have two people sitting inside so I always make a point to let the staff know that their food is great. We recently moved 20 minutes away and while in the area today we ordered our usual, my wife’s sushi rolls and my shrimp and broccoli hibachi lunch. Picked it up and the lady that checked me out was very kind and when I asked to her to ensure that my wife’s soy sauce was inside the bag she had stated “let me check myself because good help has been hard to find and staff has been screwing up the orders lately after being trained.” The sauce was in fact inside and I went about my day. Got home and opened my hibachi platter which usually has shrimp, vegetables and broccoli on one side and rice on the other side; but found that only half my tray was present and completely missing the rice. We called figuring it was an honest mistake and now being 20 minutes away, had no intentions on returning for the rice, we had just hoped to maybe be offered a half refund for the missing food. Not only did we get denied for any refund whatsoever, the male on the phone immediately accused us of lying and said multiple times that “it is impossible and that we are lying to him.” In no way do we have the time or desire to call a business on a Friday afternoon and create a story about missing rice if it were not true. We offered to send him a picture and again he accused us of lying and refused to show one ounce of sympathy toward their mistake or take an ounce of ownership for their mistake. Icing on the cake was that the quality of my wife’s sushi was the worst it has ever been and the quality of this place has clearly taken a turn for the worst. The lack of professionalism displayed today was disgusting and we’ll never return. Mistakes happen, but for a business owner to immediately and repeatedly accuse his own customers of lying, is incomprehensible. Never again, I hope the rice was worth it."

"It's taken me a bit to write this. I've been hearing about this place for sometime and finally made a reservation. I'm not a BBQ expert but my I laws live in Kansas City and my extended family lives in Texas. So I've been eating BBQ for some time including Memphis ribs. Some of us like this cut...don't judge. So BBQ I know. I was perplexed when I arrived for my reservation and found that there were no ribs on the menu? They had boneless ribs instead? Everyone knows that the bone makes the meat juicy. From chicken to rib eye to ribs. So when in Rome... we ordered the boneless ribs. I should have known that by glancing around no one ordered the ribs. That I was in for a treat The chared remains of meat came to the table and I thought ok bark tends to be a bit blackish but dig through this an find the juicy meat. But this was tough, dry and stringy. Even the sauces could save this piece of coal. Suffice to say severely disappointed and I can't and won't recommend. I'm hoping to give it another try because everyone deserves a second chance. But when I look back and I see what other tables ordered and no one had the boneless ribs...that should have been my signal to pay for my cocktails and head out."

"The food did help improve the overall experience. The portions were generous and quite tasty. My girlfriend really enjoyed her BLT, while I had a Texas Cheeseburger that, although the bottom was a bit soggy, was still enjoyable. The mozzarella cheese sticks were also a highlight, and I would recommend them. However, be prepared for a hefty bill—most dishes start at $15 or more, with my Texas Cheeseburger being a prime example. I was surprised to see an extra charge of a dollar for cheese, which I assumed was included, and an additional $4 for bacon. My server didn’t mention these additional costs, and they weren’t indicated on the menu. This feels like a significant markup. I would recommend steering clear of this place if you're in the mood for burgers or even their dinner plates, which can easily reach $20 or more, sometimes even hitting the $30 mark. It simply doesn’t seem worth it for a restaurant that doesn’t prioritize its presentation."

"I ordered the Baked macaroni and cheese on a Friday. The color was extremely orange unlike most macaroni and cheese. It was served on a very hot plate but the food was barely even warm. It feels like they heated the plate, not the actual food as advertised on their menu. The taste was mediocre at best. It could have possibly tasted better if it was actually baked. The cheese did not taste like real cheese but more like from a can. This is not a dish I would recommend unless they actually serve it as advertised on their menu. I also tasted the grilled cheese, French fries and cole slaw which was really good. The best part of my Southfork experience was the awesome waitress Debbie Rose Dinardo. This waitress went above and beyond with a smile and just great service from her. Southpark, Debbie Rose Dinardo is a gem. Keep her busy!!Thank you Debbie!"

"I have not been here for a long time, and so when I had to bring my sister to the airport, we decided to meet a friend for lunch here. It is like walking into an Italian restaurant in the 70's. Needs to be remodeled, but it's a local favorite. There are always people eating at the bar and the age group is 70+. Most have been coming here for years! The server I forgot her name was awesome. I ordered the Baked Scrod with seafood stuffing topped with lobster bisque and 2 Jr. Baked stuffed shrimp. Lunch portion $15.99. It comes with a choice of 2 sides potato and vegetable , a cup of soup, fresh Italian bread warm with butter. SO MUCH FOOD! I had a cup of the chicken escarole soup very good , baked potato with sour cream just ok , apple butternut squash delicious! . The Italian bread was fresh and warm really nice. The baked stuffed shrimp were a little over cooked but still good. I wish they had come with some melted butter as they were really dry. I did not like the fish with the scallop and shrimp stuffing with lobster bisque on top at all. The stuffing was wrapped in the fish filet, and while the out side was hot, the inside was barely warm. Scrod is a light flavored fish, but it seemed fishy to me. The lobster bisque on the top was good, but again, as a dish together, I did not like it. My sister had just the baked scrod with lobster bisque $12.99 and she enjoyed hers.. She had gotten a cup of white clam chowder, with rice pilaf and apple butternut squash as well. Our friend got the Baked Scrod $14.99 with a cup of escarole soup, French fries and apple butternut squash. As a local, she loves the chicken escarole soup and apple butternut squash and has been coming for years and years. Lots of food for very good prices. Of course I wil be back, but I won't be ordering that again."

"The selection at this restaurant was extremely limited. Only 2 out of 3 of their steam tables were in use, some food was good while others seemed to have been sitting out for a while. I had to ask for a refill of water which was disappointing. However, the sushi was very good. The ice cream selection was poor and there was no way to rinse the scoops, which was unsanitary. Even the fortune cookies were below average. Adding insult to injury, a mandatory 15% tip felt like robbery. At $16.99 for dinner, the experience was not worth it. I will not be returning, as there are much better buffets available nearby."

"Ordered $51.74 worth of food. Most discussing food ever I ordered a sweet and sour chicken and this is what I got undercooked chicken still doughy inside and this jello for sauce. (Insert sauce photo) I also ordered chicken and broccoli and when calling to order asked if it was dark sauce they said yes but when delivered it was NOT! hen I called to complain about chicken and broccoli the man told me there was soy sauce in the bag and if I wanted dark sauce to put it in the dish. And when I mentioned the sweet and sour chicken I was told he personally cooked my order and that was how they make it and he knows it's not under cooked. I offered to drive there to show him he said even if I did he would not refund just because I disliked my order. To top it all off the delivery guy wanted a $10 tip for being rude as ever and delivering some trash food! Do not eat here! Will be calling OSHA on Monday and a corporate office if I can find one. Photo of raw chicken below too!"

"My husband and I took our grandchildren and several neighborhood kids to see Halloween displays on the Saturday night before Halloween. We were having such a good time, we decided to go out for pizza. We were nervous when we walked in to Dean Park Pizza and it was packed. We expected to have to wait but the friendly staff brought us right back to two tables they pulled together. The pizza was very good and our servers were attentive and patient....even as 7 excited kids shouted out their drink orders. The atmosphere is super casual and lively...not for a romantic date, but perfect for a quick bite with the kids."
