"The food here is good. However, the people who work at this restaurant are extremely rude. They gave me a hard time about using their bathroom, getting a complimentary cup of water and having my french fries before the rest of my order was ready. Further, they insisted upon playing CNN on a television in the dining room. They were so hostile toward me that I was moderately concerned about them putting something in my food and I checked it carefully before I ate it. It was actually comical how rude they were. I kept thinking to myself that I was in some kind of comedy sketch on how someone off the street would react to very rude staff at a restaurant.I was at this restaurant at around 2 pm on a weekday and I was the only customer in the restaurant. I think they would have a lot more business if they had a better attitude toward their customers."

"this is a small place right at the canal street that they easily pass to foot, but they must go in! Yes, the restaurant area is on the back of a convenience store, but I assure them that it is not strange or dirty or one of the above. eating was incredible with tons of vegan options. the server was friendly and knowledgeable about what is or could be made vegan. she even suggested some allergy-friendly vegan chocolate bars in the shop! (sojaallergie.) I wish I would be longer in nola, I would return here for the hummus alone."

"It was a tough day, and we decided to order pizza for delivery—I can’t remember the last time, if ever, we did that. We ordered the ‘Works’ and ‘Alfredo’ pizzas and an antipasto. It came 30 minutes earlier than expected, the delivery guy was nice (and funny), the pizza was really good, and the antipasto was generous in meats. What a great way to end a poor day. It’s a relief to have a ‘go to’ when days like this occur."

"The Chicharrón Fried Pork Rind had a great flavor and was fried perfectly. The rice had large clumps in it like it was left over and had been warmed in a microwave. The Pernil Roasted Pulled Pork was good would have enjoyed more it the rice was better. Tostones Fried Green Plantains and the potatoe salad were good. Good meal with portions for 1 person definitely. They do. give a lot of rice but just wish the rice would have been better."

"Since I discovered this restaurant on my way to work, it has quickly become one of my favorite spots. The gyros are packed full of meat and overflowing with flavor! The Chicken Parmesan dinner and the half Greek chicken dinner are both very satisfying and can easily feed multiple people. The owner is dependable and manages the business well. Unfortunately, my next contract will take me out of Illinois, but I'm truly grateful to have found this place."

"This restaurant has long been my favorite choice for delivery. I can't get enough of their buffalo fingers, and their milkshake prices are unbeatable—most other places charge three times as much for a basic chocolate shake! "I’m a frequent eater at this location. Order online, phone, in person... doesn’t matter it’s all just as fast. Now, this is what I call fast food! Fresh ingredients you can taste the difference here. On this visit we had two dishes. The pork skewers which were cooked perfect and seasoned well. And the falafel platter with the seriously pleasing crunch of the falafels. Salad and dressings were fresh. Pita bread makes a great edible sponge for mopping up the dressings."

"It could have easily been a perfect 5-star review, but my entire order was messed up. To make matters worse, I requested pickup, yet it was sent out for delivery. Despite this, the food was still delicious. However, after ordering today, I'm feeling quite let down. The food didn’t taste nearly as good as it did nine months ago, especially considering the price I paid. The cocktail sauce had a strange, spongy texture, which was really off-putting. I’m not sure if there’s new management or different cooks, but something has definitely changed. I can't afford to waste my money on food that doesn't taste good. I'm very disappointed."
