"This used to be an easy 5 star rating; I've been a loyal and frequent customer of New China House for about 15 years! They've consistently been my favorite restaurant in this entire area, and the only local Chinese restaurant I patronized that's how much I loved the food I used to get. I absolutely LOVED their Monk's menu (particularly the Monk's Beef (seitan) with Broccoli, which I nearly always ordered), and the Crispy Eggplant! The Vegetable Chow Mai Fun was tasty, too. I also always included the Vegetable Spring Rolls and Vegetable Dumplings (fried) with my orders. Because I'd been ordering the Monk's Beef with Broccoli for so many years, I didn't even know about the Crispy Eggplant until about a year ago... when I promptly fell in love with it, and ordered it repeatedly thereafter (alongside the Monk's). I cannot BEGIN to convey my disappointment when they suddenly stopped offering the Crispy Eggplant. However, I assumed they still had my old favorites... but no! The ENTIRE Monk's category has been removed from the menu! AND even the Vegetable Dumplings have disappeared, too! Alllllll the dishes the only dishes I loved are gone! New China House, say it ain't so! Please bring them back!"

"This restaurant is my top choice. I prefer it over all other restaurants I have been to. I always make sure to visit whenever I can. When I want a nice meal, this is the first place I think of. They have the best variety of food and a wide selection of dishes. The staff is courteous and the ambiance is great. The prices are also reasonable. I happily recommend this spot to my friends."

"My family has been dining at this restaurant for years, and it’s one of our absolute favorites. During the COVID pandemic, they took great care to ensure the safety of their customers and their food, which is why we frequently opted for take-out. The portion sizes are generous; we typically get two meals out of each dish. "Outstanding! It was a fantastic experience. I have traveled all over the world, and this is the best Chinese food I have ever had. It was so delicious that I almost licked my fingers! "I just witnessed them being totally harassed by a customer who was upset of being asked if he wanted chicken or beef. He might have been drunk or something but doesn?t give him a right to speak that way to them. He called the young lady very bad words that I simply cannot write in this review. People really need to chill. She was just doing her job and can?t help it if she doesn?t know what protein you want. Treat food service workers with respect. They have fantastic food and service here but the customers are just plain rude. Stop abusing the workers we all know these times are hard but here they are being here everyday to feed us. At the least we can give them some respect. I don?t do reviews often but they deserve this."

"Came here to pick up a Door Dash order and everything was packaged nicely and we got exactly what we ordered. Our dinner included the pork boneless spare ribs and the jalapeno pork. This place made the food extra spicy as we requested and the meal was insanely delicious and flavorful. The quality of this food is incredible and is more than I could have hoped for. I needed to contribute and review this place because they deserve a better rating than they have. If you're looking for amazing flavor and genuine spice, look no further than Si Fu Ginger. I'll make this my regular eat"

"I came in on a cold early morning in January afternoon. The menu had plenty of items to choose from. I selected the hibachi shrimp. After I placed my order, I patiently waited in the store's small waiting area. As the minutes passed, I became colder and colder. After ten minutes, I found myself pacing up and down the waiting area to stay warm. I soon when to the counter and asked the cashier how come there was no heat in the waiting area. The cashier said the plexiglass screen that was up to help protect from covid and robberies was blocking the heat from reaching the waiting area. Come on now! That makes no sense in the dead of winter.I suggest calling it in or dressing in layers. The food was good, but this cold take-out restaurant could have been a better experience."

"I ordered the shrimp rolls which were a nice size, nicely stuffed and very tasty. I also ordered the mixed vegetables with shrimp and brown rice. Unfortunately I didn't care for the brown rice but the mixed vegetables were very tasty and cooked to perfection. I definitely plan on ordering from here again. "It had been a while since my wife and I had been to this restaurant. The last time we had been the food was amazing and we were looking forward to an amazing meal. We were highly disappointed with the service we had received and the quality of food was beyond subpar. When we asked our waiter, what an item was, he just said he didn't know how to describe it and left it at that. We asked him what veggies were in the vegetable hibachi, he neglected to mention an item that my wife is allergic to. The soups were bland.We also ordered a sushi dinner plate, and the white tuna tasted off. It was so off, I had to spit out the food and excuse myself to the restroom. This caused me to lose my appetite. They refunded my wife's meal, but did not refund the sushi. A manager didn't even come to talk to us or even apologize about the hibachi or the fish that tasted off. I had told them,since they are unable to refund the money, we will take it to go, but they cleared the food and threw it away. My wife and I were both violently sick within 10 min of leaving the restaurant. We should be refunded for this meal. Poor food quality, poor service, and poor restaurant. Go there if you need an excuse to get out of work the next day!"

"The food is always great... when you actually get it that is. I love the food and I keep trying to give them another chance at getting my order right, however, staff don't seem to care whether the order is right or if all items are actually IN the order. Several times I have received incomplete orders, missing items, wrong size of items, and when we call to let them know, they offer to give you the missing items... IF you come pick them up. Kind of defeats the purpose of using Doordash... continued issue for me... at least 9/10 of my past orders have been incomplete. Great food... horrible service. Giving it 2 stars simply because the food I do eventually get is great. Not worth the frustration. #hangrycustomer"
