"Disappointing! I tried to place a takeout order at my favorite Chinese restaurant, Fuwa, but the experience was less than enjoyable. When I called, I was surprised that the employee didn’t seem to know what potstickers were and got our combo dinner details mixed up. He mentioned they had a new menu, which should have been our first clue. When the food arrived, it turned out to be from Rice Bowl instead! I later checked Fuwa's Facebook page and discovered they had closed just a few days prior. It seems Rice Bowl has taken over their phone number without clarifying that they are not Fuwa.
As for the food, my egg drop soup was served cold, the potstickers (or dumplings, as they referred to them) tasted like the frozen ones you can buy at Walmart and microwave, and the shrimp lo mein was overly sauced and did not taste fresh at all. My husband wasn’t impressed with his chicken either. It’s really unfortunate that Fuwa is gone, and I’m very disappointed with the quality of food from the sneaky Rice Bowl Cafe!"
