"This used to be an easy 5 star rating; I've been a loyal and frequent customer of New China House for about 15 years! They've consistently been my favorite restaurant in this entire area, and the only local Chinese restaurant I patronized that's how much I loved the food I used to get. I absolutely LOVED their Monk's menu (particularly the Monk's Beef (seitan) with Broccoli, which I nearly always ordered), and the Crispy Eggplant! The Vegetable Chow Mai Fun was tasty, too. I also always included the Vegetable Spring Rolls and Vegetable Dumplings (fried) with my orders. Because I'd been ordering the Monk's Beef with Broccoli for so many years, I didn't even know about the Crispy Eggplant until about a year ago... when I promptly fell in love with it, and ordered it repeatedly thereafter (alongside the Monk's). I cannot BEGIN to convey my disappointment when they suddenly stopped offering the Crispy Eggplant. However, I assumed they still had my old favorites... but no! The ENTIRE Monk's category has been removed from the menu! AND even the Vegetable Dumplings have disappeared, too! Alllllll the dishes the only dishes I loved are gone! New China House, say it ain't so! Please bring them back!"

During the COVID pandemic, they took great care to ensure the safety of their customers and their food, which is why we frequently opted for take-out. The portion sizes are generous; we typically get two meals out of each dish. We also take advantage of the 20% off gift card days, allowing us to use the vouchers throughout the year, making it quite budget-friendly. The staff has always been friendly and professional, and the food is consistently delicious."

"I just witnessed them being totally harassed by a customer who was upset of being asked if he wanted chicken or beef. He might have been drunk or something but doesn?t give him a right to speak that way to them. He called the young lady very bad words that I simply cannot write in this review. People really need to chill. She was just doing her job and can?t help it if she doesn?t know what protein you want. Treat food service workers with respect. They have fantastic food and service here but the customers are just plain rude. Stop abusing the workers we all know these times are hard but here they are being here everyday to feed us. At the least we can give them some respect. I don?t do reviews often but they deserve this."

"I ordered the shrimp rolls which were a nice size, nicely stuffed and very tasty. I also ordered the mixed vegetables with shrimp and brown rice. Unfortunately I didn't care for the brown rice but the mixed vegetables were very tasty and cooked to perfection. I definitely plan on ordering from here again. "Should have known from the weird curtain blocking the kitchen, this wasn't going to be good. Egg foo young was mushy and undercooked. Boneless spare ribs were nothing short of a bowl full of grizzle and fat tossed in bbq sauce. Unfortunately, I couldn't even force myself to eat this even though I just finished a 9 hr shift and was starving; Had to throw out $30 in food. Will not be ordering from here again. Lots of parking outside .. now, let’s get to the food .. The lunch special was so affordable and super good .. we had lunch for two of us for 25$ or something . Great value for money .. plus we ordered jasmine tea and they gave a pot full of tea for free .. yes you heard it right FOR FREEEE. They started off with chips and sauce . Was great . Didn’t look healthy but we had a few bites of it . Miso soup was good . A bit of pepper in it , and it tasted great . Veggie with rice was good Thai style … and I had kung Pao chicken which was also awesome . Was less spicy but got their additional spicy sauce and it was perfect after that .. Overall a very happy customer .."

"The food is always great... when you actually get it that is. I love the food and I keep trying to give them another chance at getting my order right, however, staff don't seem to care whether the order is right or if all items are actually IN the order. Several times I have received incomplete orders, missing items, wrong size of items, and when we call to let them know, they offer to give you the missing items... IF you come pick them up. "I was craving Chinese food, so I decided to give Lucky Star a try. To my delight, they delivered my food in less than 30 minutes. The dishes were delicious and had a unique flavor that I really enjoyed. The service was great, they even provided extra spice for my soup upon request. The dishes were well-balanced and the fried dumplings were a standout with a tasty filling of chicken and pork paired with a sweet soy sauce. The Hunan beef was cooked to perfection with crisp vegetables and a flavorful sauce. I am looking forward to trying more of the Lucky Star menu, which includes Thai and Japanese options in addition to Chinese cuisine. I feel fortunate to have discovered this hidden gem."

"My family loves China Cafe! The food is always amazing and the staff is great! We always order, either egg rolls and egg drop soup for each of us or the pu pu tray for 2, the combo fried rice (made extra spicy) and sesame chicken. The portions are great for sharing, they definitely don't skimp on anything here. Its a newer location, but Bing (the owner) did a great job making sure the taste quality of the food hasn't changed at all."
