"Firstly, this is one of the few restaurants I've been in that is actually immaculately clean and maintained. There were no surfaces aside from baseboards that showed even the faintest signs of wear. The wait staff is friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable about the food and where it's sourced from. Most, if not all, of the produce is locally sourced. We started with the Plata criolla and the empanadas. Both were really good, but the palta was stellar. Rarely are shrimp cooked this perfectly. My wife had the veggie plate and I had the churrasco. I felt that the veggie plate was about half the size it should have been, especially for the price, but everything on it was super tasty. The churrasco really shined here it seemed like a flank steak or something similar, but was in no way tough and was cooked to perfection. I enjoyed the different textures and flavors of the various potato cultivars that were served with the steak there is a much greater difference than you would think. My only complaint about the steak was that it should have had double the chimichurri on it, at least. The steak flavor was so bold you could barely even taste the chimichurri, which is usually a pretty bold flavor. We ordered the picarones and lucuma sundae for dessert, and both were really good. The doughnuts were just a tad overcooked, but otherwise tasty, and the syrup was delicious with a faint savory note to it. The dulce de leche combined with the lucuma ice cream was simply divine."

Y ya el reporte fue hecho con el BBB.——Their slogan is fresh food and as someone who frequents restaurants (especially Ecuadorian) to review and promote I can say their food is not fresh. The wrapping of the bollo showed signs of freezing and reheating and it tasted of pure flour. In addition it came with no curtido as the typical dish does. The bolon was still a bit raw as the green plantain tasted raw, the hen in both the soups was still bright pink (and the chef said it was normal), the salchipapa was disappointing as it had no salchicha just regular hot dogs and the fries were subpar, the cazuela seemed reheated as one part was nice and hot and the center was cold. We paid over $100 and left hungry because the food was just taken to go at that point. As someone who always double check prices on the receipt I came across a discrepancy in my final charge which they did well by rectifying. The business does not establish to consumer beforehand that they charge a 15% mandatory tip on parties of 4 or more. It is reflected on the receipt at the end. The service was fine and we informed the server they are supposed to inform customers prior whether in writing or verbally just as a fact. She went to the owner who came guns blazing. We informed her we had no problem paying it but as someone who works in the field we were informing them prior to it posing any issue in the future and she was very confrontational. We said it was fine but when another complaint gets put and someone is sent to inspect she shouldn’t be surprised as she had been informed. The restaurant is nice and spacious but the food was utterly disappointing.4.5/10 at best but due to the owners horrible customer service and attitude at the end brought it down to a 2/10."

"During my travels in New York, I stumbled upon Leticia's, and it turned out to be a delightful culinary discovery. This cozy restaurant exudes a warm and inviting ambiance that instantly made me feel at home.As I perused the menu, the array of dishes caught my eye, offering a fusion of flavors that piqued my interest. I was particularly impressed with their selection of wholesome salads that showcased a beautiful variety of fresh ingredients and vibrant colors. The standout of the evening was the attentive and friendly waitress, Margot. Her genuine enthusiasm and knowledge about the menu were commendable. Margot's recommendations were spot-on, guiding me to some of the restaurant's best salads.I opted for one of their signature salads, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The ingredients were clearly sourced with care, and the salad was a delightful medley of textures and tastes that left me fully satisfied. The only reason I didn't give Leticia's a full five stars is that the service was a bit slow, especially during peak hours. However, the delicious salads and Margot's warm hospitality more than made up for it.In conclusion, Leticia's offers a wholesome culinary journey with its enticing variety of salads and cozy ambiance. If you find yourself in New York and craving a refreshing and delicious salad, I highly recommend stopping by Leticia's and indulging in their flavorful offerings. With Margot's excellent service and the delightful salads, you're sure to have an enjoyable time."
