"I finally got a chance to eat at the Jalapeno Grille, and first walking in the decor was pretty cool. Then I looked on the menu board. $4 for a taco. $9 for a basic burrito with a $3 upcharge for lengua. We thought to get a special, but we couldn't upgrade to horchata. When the food arrived, the burrito was nothing special. Beans were a little salty. The carne asada taco and taco al pastor were actually pretty fabulous. Regular size tortillas, not street-taco size. Lots of filling in them. I guess for a St. Charles location, the prices aren't outrageous, but for an out-of-towner the bill was pretty steep. Parking is a joke. Other than that it was pretty good."

"I felt bad that there was nowhere to add tip for balompies on doordash! Then I forgot to give cash when we picked it up!! Will make it up to them next time I order!!! Favorite spot but this time the Combo #1. pupusas(2) rice and beans and Platanos didnt seem the same Im sad to say. Im sure they are just super busy as its New Years Eve today, but food was all a bit undercooked overall."

"I had a chicken burrito over dry. They constantly burn their food so much every day that everywhere in a 4 block radius recects of carcinogenic burned chicken smoke. Every time I go down De La Vina, I can't escape the smell. literally air contaminating smoke during virtually all operating hours? I don't know how they live on the street wearing the smell. The owners either need to update their ventilation system to capture more of the smoke in HEPA filters or simply stop burning their food. Not recommended."

"I really enjoyed their Tri-tip Burrito Quesadillas and Combo Chicken and Tri-tip meals. It was a pleasant surprise to stop by this restaurant on my way home from Solvang Santa Ynez. The food was excellent, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean, and I appreciated the bottomless drinks and well-stocked salsa bar. I highly recommend this place and would definitely love to return to this restaurant chain. I saw on the bag that they have a location closer to me in Ventura on E. Main Street. "Got seated quick. Food was good. Service not so good. I was just asked once if everything was ok. Once I finish eating, trying to get one of the waitress attention to get a to go box was impossible. They tried to avoid eye contact with you. I had to go to the counter and ask. I also ask for my tab cause they would t bring it either. When she was ringing me up the prices were different from the prices on the menu. When I asked why was she charging different she said because I'm using a card, so we charge 4% for every item. I've never heard of that other than charging a $1 to use your card. Might as well just add the 4% to the prices and not confuse people, plus who uses cash now in days.Overall, I didn't like my experience."
