"The prices are reasonable, especially for TriBeCa. I’ve spent $16 on uninspiring sandwiches at other trendy places nearby, so it’s nice to find lunch specials ranging from $9 to $12 here. I’ve bumped my rating up to 4 stars from the initial 3 because the atmosphere is pleasant and quiet, providing a nice escape from the bustling city outside. There’s plenty of seating, and my server has been incredibly kind and welcoming—definitely a highlight of my experience. While the food isn’t out of this world, it’s quite good. So far, my favorite dish has been the spicy buffalo sandwich. Plus, the coffee is consistently excellent!"

"Ok, so I usually don't complain and try to be understanding given hiring post-covid. Before I address the bad, let me address the good. This was what I feel to more of an authentic flare to the food. The food arrived super hot and fresh!!! You could tell it was cooked with care and done as it was ordered. I have no complaints about the decor or the atmosphere in the restaurant. I had a taco de lengua, and it was absolutely delicious. My main dish, carnitas in salsa verde was perfection. So, grading the food and chef, 10 stars!!!!! Now, to the negative. The waiter was without any character or warming experience. Very minimal talking, seemed bothered to refill drinks and it seemed a strain on him to even say your welcome. (De Nada) I would absolutely go back for the food, but unfortunately the experience with service was subpar and I would struggle to return unless service greatly improves."

"My family and I have been ordering from this restaurant for years. The staff is so kind, and their food is amazing. Seriously, you need to try this place if you haven't ordered from here yet. "We love Azteca! It 's become our weekly ritual for so many reasons. The owner staff are amazing, the food, the margaritas and the happy hour are absolutely fantastic. More specifically, the Azteca margarita is strong, smoky and almost makes my wife cry in joy every time she has it. Street Taco Tuesdays and Fajita Fridays are delicious and are one of, if not the best deals in town. I 'm a Midwest kid originally from Wisconsin and friendliness and hospitality go a long way with me and I 've yet to find a place like this. Manny (personally) and his team are consistently making sure you 're well taken care of and are enjoying everything. We love it so much we 're trying to get our own booth lol. Go and enjoy, they have customers for life with us."

"Waiting to be seated took a long time, even after I mentioned to the hostess that I had joined the waitlist. Once we finally got to our table, we had to wait another 10 minutes for a server to come over. When she did, her approach was quite abrupt—she jumped right in with “What do you want?” instead of offering any sort of greeting. However, once we placed our orders, things improved. The food arrived promptly, but the chicken fajitas lacked flavor. On the bright side, the elotes were fantastic!"

"The customer service was excellent; I really appreciated how attentive our waiter was. He frequently checked in to see if everything was okay, kept our drinks refilled, and demonstrated great manners throughout our meal. He definitely earned a well-deserved tip! As for the food, it was good, and I would likely return. The only downside was the noise level from the music—it felt more like a nightclub than a restaurant. But, given that it’s a Mexican bar-style place, I suppose that's to be expected. Just be prepared for a hefty bill if you’re planning on having a full course meal! Dinner for two came to $84 plus tip, and we didn’t even order any alcoholic drinks. Nevertheless, my husband left satisfied!"

"This is my favorite Mexican place in town. They have great American style Mexican food. It's *almost* authentic but not so heavy on the cilantro and jalapenos which is how I prefer mine. Normally their service is impeccable but this trip was very slow and not the usual attention to detail. It won't stop me from going back but I hope it doesn't become a trend."

"So we decided to go here over Don Jaun's because the last time we went to Don's I got Carne Asada Tacos and it really wasn't that good. So we decided to try this place because they had decent reviews. We got in and first off they put us right by the front door right where all the customers and waiters and waitresses are walking through. So the girl comes to take our drink orders she was really sweet and we also ordered a queso dip. While waiting for our app they bring chips and Salsa and the chips looked like they dumped the bottom of the bag into our basket. Then our app came out the queso was so runny we couldn't even scoop it up with any chips let alone the crumbles pieces we had it served better as beverage. So then another girl comes to take our order and she has her purse in her hand we were like where's our server? And I ordered the Rancheros and supposed to come with rice and beans and I got none of that just the 3 tortillas wrapped with meat that was it! We ordered my daughter 2 soft tacos and she only got 1. And her mother ordered Chimichanga with white sauce no red sauce and she got red sauce and said the food wasn't that good either she only ate 1 and no rice or anything else. Fortunately, my food was really good I just didn't get what I paid for no rice or beans so I wasn't happen at all! Then when it came time to pay there was nobody upfront to take mine and another customers payment. They stood there waiting about 10mins to pay and I waited about 8mins to pay. Overall it wasn't a great experience since we had like 3-4 waitresses we didn't get the food we ordered and just overall it's not enough to bring us back. I really don't think that management cares either because I looked at the reviews and not 1 reply from the owners or a manger from all their reviews and that shows they don't care. So save your time and your money and go somewhere else for a better experience. I don't recommend this place at all unless you want below subpar service and subpar food your better off going to Don Jauns less than 1\2 mile down the road. And we ended up spending about $43.00 and we left a 20% tip as well even though they didn't deserve it."

"Tapatio Mexican Grill never disappoints. The menu, food and drinks are always excellent. The fresh baked chips and salsa are delicious. We've been coming to Tapatio for years, both with and without our kids. As is often the case, during this meal we encountered several friends who we don't see often enough and enjoyed catching up. We all agreed that Tapatio is truly the best neighborhood restaurant for enjoying a meal and reconnecting with family, friends and the community. Tapatio is a longtime favorite place to eat."

"The restaurant has two entrances: one near the elevator via the private party access and another through the main building. Be sure to check in with the hostess near the bathrooms upon arrival. Let's take a moment to appreciate the delicious carrots served with the chips and salsa—they were so good that we requested seconds, preferring them over the chips! The meatball soup was accompanied by rice, beans, and a tortilla, while the chili relleno was light and prepared perfectly. The bathrooms were clean, and the wait staff were friendly and attentive. The reason for my lower rating is the menu, which is printed in brown ink on brown paper, making it very difficult to read in the dim lighting. A larger font with clearer text would be beneficial. The decor is eclectic, with spacious booths and tables available. I recommend arriving early."

"We made a reservation for six and arrived right on time, where we were seated promptly. We had a cozy corner bench with one person at the table. The menu was easy to read and offered a wide variety of choices. Our waiter was extremely accommodating. My Mexican husband said the food tasted very authentic—one of the best meals we've had here in the states. The decor created a comfortable atmosphere, and the rest of our party felt the same way. We will definitely be returning!"

"I can’t believe I have never given this outstanding restaurant a review. We eat here frequently. The service tonight as every time we have eaten here was outstanding! The food is the best and I have actually been to Puerto Vallarta. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming! The prices lower than expected. $45 for 2 dinners and drinks. I had a large draft and my son a soda. Chips and salsa were included. We added queso.also you have to try the homemade hot sauce!! The flavor is delicious but be warned it’s called hot for a reason. I will try to remember to get some photos on our next visit! Until then do not pass by this hidden gem!"

"I ordered from the online menu and was in for a big surprise. The prices listed were completely inaccurate. One item I ordered online was priced at $16.25, but I was charged $23.00 when I received my bill. Another item that was $10.45 online ended up costing $14.50. After tax, my total should have been $28.78, but it came to $40.47 instead—a difference of $11.69. They really need to update their online menu to reflect the correct prices. I can't speak to the quality of the food since I was so disappointed by the pricing."

"I've been a kid since I was and I'm so glad they have great vegan options! there is a whole vegetarian section on the menu with teller A-G, and most of them can be made vegan by holding the cheese/sahne. there is also a quantity of meat dishes that can be subbedded for beans and this is marked clearly on the menu. When I asked our server if the vegetarian fajitas court comes with cheese, she knew exactly what I meant and asked no milk. very recommend the vegetarian Fajita plate (without cheese and acid cream), it is huge! they also get unlimited chips and salsa while waiting for the food to come."

"Start with free chips and salsa. Food is always fresh and sometimes sizzling when it comes to your table. They have an extensive menu, almost overwhelming, but they have something for almost all. Waiting was always acceptable, and to be honest, I wouldn't be upset if I had to wait a little more, the atmosphere is happy. Beef/steak, chicken, shrimp/fish/scallops, vegetarian, children's menus, lunch and dinner, desserts, soft drinks/hard liquor, TVs, fish tank and a .25 rubber ball machine. The staff was always good for us and the children. Remember to increase your tips a few dollars, these servers deserve it."

"Food that we got was good. Order wasn't ready on time, brought home and wrong order, drove back, 15 minutes each way waited for correct food and when I got home one of the dinners was still wrong. They did let us keep the first wrong order so I have plenty of food I didn't want. Nice people but if I can't trust them to get a few items right why would I order again. "Sorry, I ate my food before I could take pics. It's that good. My vegetarian peeps... I hate ordering fajitas and just get a plate of bland onions and bellpepers. Hands down best Toledo veggie fajitas with onion, peppers, zucchini, tomatoes it was just delicious and the sangria... have only one it will sneak up on you. The veggie chimichanga was ok but I didn't enjoy as much as the fajita. I always get the same waitress when I go and she's so friendly, cute and sweet so tip her well people! Enjoy"
