"Very disappointing !! Never again. I called a few days in advance to ask if they had tables inside with tablecloths (we didn't want a take-out place) and they said yes and when we arrived there, they did NOT have table cloths in fact. We were a party of and the waiter had a lot of trouble understanding our order. We had to repeat things multiple times AND the waiter could not answer our simple questions. When we were ordering appetizers, one guest in our party asked for spring rolls as an appetizer and instead of telling us they understood this meant two of the same appetizer for one person, they brought over two FULL orders which consisted of spring rolls EACH for one person, in addition to the other appetizers! They would not take the second order served in error back OR credit our bill. The food was mediocre and was not served hot. It was lukewarm when served. There was no beef on the menu ?? For a bill for just four people it was a complete rip-off. We each only had one drink each. No hot tea on the tables. Place wasn’t exactly that clean either. Never again !!"

"I had chicken biryani and masala dosa for lunch. The dosa was incredibly tasty, especially with the various chutneys. The biryani was good as well, but I found the rice to be a bit on the drier side. However, the chicken was moist and delicious. I will definitely come back again."

The rice that accompanied my dish was simply outstanding—truly the best I've ever had. "Our family enjoyed the outdoor seating and the waiters did a great job of quickly pushing other tables in when it was raining out of the blue. We were under an umbrella and a big tree and didn't have to move and the rain stopped quickly. Our teenage kids weren't in many nice restaurants and they loved the creative starters, especially the homemade croutons on the Caesar salad, delicious! We all had very good meals and were too full for dessert, which is unfortunate because I have eaten the chocolate bread pudding with baileys before and it is divine! There are so many tasty options and we enjoyed the scallops as well as the duck, key lime chicken and the flank. You can't go wrong!"

"Recent October 2021 visit, made a special trip coming through Nashville to stop here... Waited well over 10 minutes after being seated and no service, only 2 other tables were occupied in the whole restaurant so we left and I have to bring down the star rating I first gave them.... Looked this place up and the reviews and ratings looked good... Very authentic Indian food it is!!! Very nice staff and everything comes out very quick and hot... Our kids got the chicken rice and they loved it, we ordered salmon and a multiple of lamb dishes and everything was great, be careful when ordering the hotness of a fish as even the 7.5 will sure get you sweating ?"

"So me and a friend went in last night for a quick bite. Not a busy night there at all. We ordered shrimp pakoras which were good and got a few indo-Chinese dishes or so we thought. The noodles were loaded with oil and no flavor whatsoever. It's indo-chinese with no green onions or garlic. It tasted more like I would get something at the food court in the mall. I asked for cut lemons which didn't come. The chutneys were bought after the pakoras since we asked for it. $13 for a glass of wine . Between the two of us I don't feel it was worth my money. They used to be good but not anymore. I would prefer they work on getting better chefs and improving their menu options."

"Every time I visit this restaurant, it's an amusing experience. The first time I came here with some colleagues, my chair kept sliding further and further away from the table. At that time, they only offered a lunch special featuring a tofu curry. Out of all the wonderful Indian curry options, tofu is certainly a lower-tier vegetarian choice. They have since added an à la carte menu. When the server brought out our meals, he noticed my Chana Masala and commented that it was authentic Indian cuisine. He then proceeded to rearrange my fork, stir my plate right in front of me, and put some of my beans and ginger on my coworker's plate. I was taken aback; I really don't appreciate other people meddling with my food. On my last visit, it took almost an hour to get our lunch. Typically, if I order pakoras as an appetizer, they come in a basket, but this time we received just four small pieces of carrot and one small battered broccoli floret. For vegans, I recommend taking a look at the complimentary soft options they offer."

"Overall, the food was average. The burgers were large, however, you pay a premium for French fries. I would rather they just inflate the price and make French fries standard. The included item is potato chips. My mom and daughter had the burgers and said they were pretty good. I had the stuffed shrimp, which didn't have a lot of flavor. I could tell I was eating shrimp and crab, but there wasn't much flavor. The portion was four stuffed shrimp. However, the shrimp were of the medium variety that I would buy at my local market. They were ripped with a tablespoon size crab ball. I had to pay a premium for cheese on my potato. This dish was $29, which I was prepared to pay, but was disappointed when it came out. Or meal was $95 (including a 15% tip). I'd also like to add we all had water to drink. I think the bill was a tad too much when two people in my party had a burger. The best part was dining outside right at the water. I drove from central Virginia to dine there, and am not sure if do it again. Just so so."

"Honestly the worst customer service and experience I have EVER had. Placed an online order at 6:30PM for delivery to be scheduled at 7:15PM. Placed delivery instructions to call me upon arrival. An hour past the delivery time (8:15PM) I call to check on where my order is they said it'll be there soon, he just left with my food. 8:45PM rolls around and I still don't have my food, so I call again. The manager tells me that he will be there in ten minutes, but also during the call, the delivery guy comes back to the place with my food. I confirmed with two people, and checked my emailed receipt that my phone number was in fact correct. When I go to ask how they can make this situation better now that I am 1 hour and thirty minutes past my delivery time, and the food is likely cold.. I got yelled at by someone on staff and they told me they were going to refund my order and not deliver my food. One would think that with the restaurant at fault and my food being so late that they would try to make this work.. but nothing was done. The manager eventually told me the food was coming, with no refund. The food.... honestly nothing special. As expected, it was cold and everything had to be reheated. I got the chicken tikka masala and I thought it was pretty subpar compared to other Indian places I have had. Looking for my new ATL Indian spot, and unfortunately I just don't think this is it."

"I 'm always looking for a local place to get some good Indian food. The atmosphere is very modern and casual with several booths lining the walls and a few tables and chairs in the center. The current ordering process is a little different. A waitstaff will come to the table and take your order on a digital pad. From what I experienced, they want you to be ready to order everything you want at once. They don 't want to take your drink/appetizers order and come back for your main meal. The food is very good. They have a good variety of dishes but I feel like the prices are a little on the expensive side. $15 per dish is a bit steep for me. We ordered two goat dishes and asked for hot , I found the spice level was perfect. The only problem I had was that the bones were left in the meat. I felt like the majority of my dish was bones. There were perhaps 3 cubes of meat without bones, and the rest were slivers of meat on mostly bone. This directly impacts the portions of food that you get and feels like it was a waste to order this dish. Otherwise, I really liked the food. The staff are very friendly. I think, if you want Indian food in Lafayette and don 't want to pay as much as you would at Masalas, it 's a good place to try."

"this is the first time we’ve ever eaten here. we ordered teriyaki chicken, chicken lo-mein, and 2 orders of steamed pork potstickers. the steamed potstickers were good, but they were absolutely not even close to being done. they were extremely doughy and sticky. upon opening the second box of steamed potstickers, it was actually something that was absolutely not what we ordered, but instead, was fried and had a bunch of what i think was spinach inside of it? it wasn’t good, and it wasn’t what we ordered. the teriyaki chicken was just okay, the chicken wasn’t the consistency i was expecting, but whatever it’s nobody’s fault. but it just wasn’t my favorite. overall though, everything had a decent flavor. some things were just a little messed up and questionable."

"The food is always fresh and service is second to none. They fill your water before it’s empty and take the dirty plates as soon as you’re done. This is my favorite Indian restaurant. "However, the dining experience inside is quite disappointing. It feels like I'm eating in a break room at a workplace, which gives off a rather neglected vibe. If you choose to order for pickup, be prepared to wait—my food has taken as long as 45 minutes, usually around an hour. Even when I ordered on a Wednesday afternoon at around 4 PM, when they weren't busy, it still took that long. The service is... okay. It's not terrible, but the wait times and quality consistency are concerning. I still order from here occasionally, but it's more of a rare treat. The food is good, but they really need more staff, improved service, a complete interior renovation, and faster food preparation times. Ideally, they should aim for an average of 15-25 minutes, but I've seen it take 40-45 minutes during peak times on Fridays and Saturdays. Waiting 45 minutes for one dish as a single diner feels excessive. I've personally experienced waits of over an hour when I've been their only dine-in customer. While I haven't faced the 90-minute to 2-hour wait times mentioned in other reviews, I can see how that might happen for larger takeout orders. I do recommend trying them— the food is definitely tasty—but there are other options nearby. If you have a car, restaurants like Utsav, Godavari, Dhaba Whala, and Kumar's are all within a 15-minute drive, and their takeaway orders generally take no longer than 30-35 minutes, even on busy nights."

"This is not my top choice for curry, but it was quite tasty. I was hoping for more flavor in the Garlic Naan. The spicy Bullet Naan didn't appeal to me because of the unique taste of green chili, but that's just a personal preference. The Saag Paneer was delicious, and the Samosa was pretty good. I was happy that they provided a side of Onion Relish, but I wish they had given me more. Overall, it was a pretty good experience."
