"I love founders, but this last experience was terrible. We went during Sunday brunch. At 1:30. Personally, I didn't want the brunch buffet offer or the prices. I waited until 2:00 to order from the regular menu (brunch ended at 2:00). The waitress was terrible. She rarely came by and acted like any request was an officer. Wait for a regular menu, a drink, a refill, dessert menu, just let us say something. I tipped her, but only because she might have had a bad day and I felt generous. But I'll never go there on a Sunday and think twice about going in other times or days."

"First time visitor, had the pizza by the slice, gooey cheese had good flavors, perfect amount of sauce which stayed hot down to the last bite, crust was nice and crunchy. For a quick bite with bar atmosphere, can get a bit loud, it's spot on for indulging in good ol Chicago style pizza."

"Service and hospitality can be hit or miss at just about any venue (and is subjective). This establishment as rather busy upon our arrival. But the hospitality easily overshadowed any of our immediate concerns. We were seated quickly, yet appropriately. No surprise of the wide variety of choices on the menu--honestly, we were a little overwhelmed. Nonetheless, our dishes were delivered in a timely and welcomed manner by our confident waiter. Cost was familiar, but considering the level of service received, worth more than its weight in gold is underscored here. Deserving of revisit?? Indeed."

"Today’s food review is for the pizza. I was told that it had just came out. However the pizza was cold, soggy and greasy. I’ve been told while pies here are good. However if you’re in need of a slice. Go to coiner pizza instead or Sarah’s pizza. If the employee knew that it had not recently came out he should have heated it. I mean it was gross.i order here frequently and the worst I can’t stand is an employee who lies to make a sale. Owner take notice. This is how customers are lost. I should have gone back for a refund."

"Ate here w our kids and had a nice meal. Kids had a buffet designed for them which worked out great and. Ore higher end restaurants should heed this call. $15 each but included lots of choices which kids love as well as deserts and a drink. I had the swordfish which was a bit overdone and a bit tasteless. My wife had the filet which was served over a tomatoe based medley of zucchini and squash which really didn't go with it very well. Read reviews and told side of Russell sprouts was roasted but they arrived steamed and again tasteless. All in the best part of the meal was our excellent waiter. Ate at pacific grille the night before and that meal was a lot tastier."

"Food: I ordered the beef with onion rings and a chocolate shake. The beef was a large part and the meat was quite juicy and tender. The onion rings had a little more taste, but I ate them with a smile. There are two sizes of shakes, a large and small. The small is a perfect size, served in a classic way, in the metal mix container. Service: The staff was polite, friendly and accurate with my order. I've been looking a few times to see if everything was perfect. Last thought: This restaurant is located on the beach, a 2-minute walk away. A classic diner with many American decisions. Not my first time and it won't be my last."

"Great place to eat, it's open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I always recommend people visiting Dana Point to visit this restaurant. Whenever I am there, breakfast, dinner, doesn't matter, it's always a chorizo omelet. They are always generous with cheese and use quality ingredients. Lately, I have been eating their delicious bacon-wrapped onion rings."

"I arrived at the restaurant at 7:30 PM, and the door stated they closed at 8:00 PM. I called to confirm, and a rude woman answered, saying, "The restaurant closes at 8, but the kitchen closes at 7:30." Does that even make sense? If I could give them zero stars, I definitely would. "I think God himself may be whisking the eggs and pancake batter in the kitchen. My husband and I agreed that this is the best breakfast we have ever had at a restaurant. The omelette was huge! The pancakes were perfection. The time from ordering toreceiving our meal was rather quick, and the ladies serving us were lovely...Sherry A was our waitress. "Having brunch in a sit down restaurant like this is great. It's nice knowing that this restaurant has been around for many years and people enjoy it. Their menu has the typical American diner style to it. I honestly think that if you brought your family to eat here they have something for each and every one of them. Their service was great we got seated right away and coffee was at our table moments after ordering. Food came out rather quickly as well. Their plate portions were great for the price. Even took some home because we were full."

"First time trying this place. We had a pretty decent group so we took my dad for Father’s Day last night (Saturday). It was quite an odd experience. Overall the food was pretty good. We all liked what we got. Except the older waitress there was RUDE as could be. She didn’t say hello just said sit anywhere you want someone will be with you. If it had been busy, I could understand. I’ve worked in the service industry for 13 years, I get it. Then this young girl comes and takes our drink orders and walks away before I can even ask for a glass of Pinot noir. She comes back, I ask for it and she doesn’t say a word. About 20 minutes later I ask about the wine. She said “oh let me go check”. Another 15 later she brings back a glass of white wine.?‍ I tell her this is wrong and she sends the mean one over and she said “look, we don’t even have pinot noir.” Like I did something wrong lol. This went on all evening. The entire time we were there hip hop was BLASTING from the kitchen and so were cuss words. It was the most unprofessional and least intimate experience we’ve had at an Italian restaurant. The best part was the food and the manager (I’m assuming) asking us about the Groupon.? I suggest take out if you must go here."

"Found this gem back in August and haven 't been able to last a single week without Buds Deli! Although I 'm still working my way through the full menu; the Italian sub, Tri-Tip sandwich, fresh pastries, and Jaclyn 's grapefruit salad, are a few among my Everyone Must Try list! Tomorrow I can 't wait to try the breakfast burrito that one of their frequent customers were raving about when I came in!Aside from the delicious food, I must admit that part of my obsession with this deli is due to the genuine excitement I see from the owner, Gary. "Called in to place an order for delivery at 5:13pm. Ordered a large pizza, a chicken Alfredo pasta and 2 appetizers, was told 45 minutes to an hour. After an hour and a half called to check on delivery and was told ?driver just left, you should have it any minute.? Called back 30 minutes later (2 hours after ordering) and was told our order ?didn?t exist.? Here?s the kicker they had my address attached to my phone number, yet we just moved into this house YESTERDAY. So, they had to have entered it manually themselves and yet they said ?nope, no order, must have been a computer glitch.? After asking more questions the best they could offer me is ?20% of my delivery? and we would have to start all over. Absolutely terrible customer service!! How in the span pf 30 minutes does it go from ?driver just left with your food? to ?we have no order at all for you? and then the best they can do is 20% off ? save your money, save your time, go anywhere besides here."

"My other child ordered an egg bagel, which tasted like a microwave egg bite from Costco. I wasn’t impressed, but my 4-year-old thought it was fine, and to be fair, at $10, it was a good-sized portion. Another issue I faced was when I ordered a “drink.” Upon realizing there was no iced tea at the soda machine, I asked about it and was told I would have to pay extra. I suspect I’d have received the same response if I had complained about the lox portion. Additionally, there are no refills on iced tea, which feels like a way to squeeze extra money from customers. When you order at the counter and pick up your food, it made me question why they suggested a tip of 15-20% at payment. Maybe it’s a standard feature of their POS system, but I would have expected them to do something to enhance my meal and overall experience. Unfortunately, this place did little more than take my order and prepare my food, and I didn’t even receive a smile. I have no issue tipping 20% when there’s good service; it just needs to be earned. Overall, this was not an experience that would make me want to return."
