"So, I decided to give it another shot, knowing the situation. This time, the cook was present, but the pizza still fell short. There was hardly any sauce, the crust was floppy and undercooked, and I ordered my usual—sausage, pepperoni, and mushroom. The sausage was nearly nonexistent, there were only a few canned mushrooms, and I think there was just one slice of pepperoni per piece.
I thought, "First time, shame on you; second time, shame on me." But as a local, I wanted to give Dillons a fair chance, so I went for a third try. Unfortunately, this time felt like three strikes, and I’m out.
Two days ago, I ordered the same toppings again—sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, with extra cheese since there was barely any last time. The thin crust was perfect and actually cooked through. Yet again, the toppings were lacking: barely any canned mushrooms, hardly any sausage, and the pepperoni had no flavor. It was a dry pizza, and I just don’t understand it! The inconsistency is frustrating.
When I see photos of great pizza people have posted from Dillons, I can hardly believe it—there's no way that could be the same restaurant I’ve experienced. It’s disappointing because the first two times were so good.
This place is nice for drinks, but honestly, maybe the pizza is only decent after a few drinks. I've tried reaching out to the owner several times, but she hasn't been available."
