"Upon our arrival, we were told that our reservation was actually set for 7:45 PM. We explained the situation, emphasizing that it must have been a mistake on their part. Unfortunately, the staff was quite unsympathetic. Even my son, who was with us, pointed out that a similar issue occurred last holiday season—a problem that was only resolved when he, an investment advisor from New York, provided written confirmation of our reservation.
Last night, however, without that written proof, we saw no effort to accommodate us. It seemed as if they prioritized regular customers over those of us who don’t visit as frequently, reshuffling reservations to suit their preferences. Be warned: there are numerous other restaurants in Aspen with better food and much more attentive customer service. If you still choose to dine at Brexi, make sure to have documentation on hand."
