"This is the spot in Camden, Maine you do not want to miss. The view is amazing and the food is delicious too. We went here for a social gathering and glad we choose this place. Soon as we arrived the hostess was full of smiles and welcoming words. She told us we could pick any table and from what I observed there isn't one bad seat in the place. The tables are located on the deck with the bar at the end of the dock. Our waitress arrived with a smile and plenty of advice to offer. She was professional and courteous also like all the staff. The staff all worked well together assisting each other when needed. Now for the best part the food and drinks. We started out with rum punch which was very tasty and full of booze. We started out with little-necks fried clams, and fried potatoes and a fine choice. The little-necks and clams seemed like they were just caught of of the ocean that fresh. We then place our order starting with the fish and chip plate, Cesar salad, Baked Haddock, Cheese Burger Plate and lastly was the Fried Calm Plate. Each was delicious and delicious, flavorful and a perfect portion. They also have a lounge area with sofa’s and chairs to enjoy a cocktail while watching the boats pass by. The children can also enjoy there own area with plenty of interacting games to play. As I said this is a place you do not want to miss if you are in Camden. Thank you to our waitress who really was great to meet as well as all the staff we came into contact with you all rock and made our vacation well worth it."

"I have serious doubts about the kitchen's ability to function properly, and I'm concerned that I might end up with a foodborne illness after my visit. I ordered New England Clam Chowder, Baked Clams, and Oysters Rockefeller—meals that should be served hot enough to require a brief wait before eating. Instead, what I received was a disappointment. The clam chowder was lukewarm, the baked clams were unevenly heated, heightening my concern about food safety, and the oyster in the Oysters Rockefeller was as cold as a freshly shucked oyster. The service was just as poor. I would strongly advise against dining here. They clearly shouldn't be in business and would do the community a favor by closing down permanently. "What drew us in was the location – the view of the Hudson from the patio adjacent to the river is simply GORGEOUS. Then it quickly became clear that the view was just the beginning. The service was great – attentive and consistent but not intrusive. The adults savored well-crafted and tasty cocktails and our meals were well-portioned and delicious. We enjoyed the raw oysters (East Coast) so much we ordered a second dozen. We had four adults and two kids in our group and had no issue in accommodating everyone’s preferences. The ambiance was very lively and dynamic – it seemed to be quite the gathering for locals (small parties and families alike) who were definitely enjoying themselves. After settling in, the staff made this family from Texas feel right at home! We are DEFINITELY looking forward to returning to Half Moon on a future trip to the Hudson Valley, and heartily recommend Half Moon, especially for those visiting from out-of-town – it’s not to be missed!!!"

"But for the food, Beech Plum was a big disappointment this year from the very start. We expect more from this highly rated and high priced restaurant. We booked on Open Table because we called to make a reservation for the night of our anniversary, left a message, and never got a return call. We requested a table for two, inside next to a window for our anniversary. When they called the day defore to confirm our reservation I repeated the request. They didn't seat us at the window and after we were seated we noticed a nearby empty table for two. We didn't ask to be reseated. By their own admission, they were slammed unexpectedly and understaffed. The best thing about BP is enjoying a glass of BYOB wine on the beautiful terrace watching the sunset over Menemsha Bay. No waitstaff was outside to offer wine glasses or pour wine. We went back inside to ask and were told someone was out there. Not true. Finally someone brought jelly jars yes, jelly jars to a nearby group. We asked for them, too, and never got them. By that time, it was time for our reservation. We loved the sunset even without the wine. The place was super noisy. As there was no outside dining that night because they were setting up for a wedding the next day, I think they crammed more people inside. No wine glasses, just jelly jars! Our waiter told us they were short because they had returned their rented glasses earlier this week. Really? With a wedding the next day? We had to ask for our bottle of wine to be opened. Eventually we got real wine glasses. Our dinners were very good though not exceptional yellow fin tuna and slow cooked lamb shank with polenta in a rich broth. The greens, radish , and goat feta cheese salad would have been better if you could find more than a few morsels of cheese. Not enough ingredients for the unexpected crowd? Our waiter and the entire staff were pleasant but in a hurry. They couldn't be attentive. We sensed their frustration."

"I ordered the fluke special, but it arrived dry and almost seemed like it had been left out under the lamps for too long. When I requested some lemon caper butter to go with it, our server brought out a bowl of capers instead. Additionally, there was a bad potato in my dish that was black inside (see attached photo). The kitchen manager came out and offered me a replacement dish, so I tried the fried scallops, which were average at best. The cole slaw tasted old and the overall meal was bland. To make matters worse, we were charged for the subpar scallop meal and a cake that was brought out after we requested the check and stated that we wanted to leave. Despite informing the restaurant of our disappointing experience via Facebook message and being promised a refund, we have not received any compensation. We will be returning to Westerly for my birthday in 2020, but we will be avoiding Sea Goose. Perhaps we will try a different restaurant, even if it's a Long John Silver's, at least they give you a fork."

"During our last visit, the server awkwardly tried to open a bottle of wine on the table instead of using the provided wine bucket while fetching glasses. There was no tasting offered, and they poured our small glasses as if they were serving brandy. To make matters worse, we received ice-cold coffee with our dessert, which certainly did not enhance our experience. While they did offer to make a fresh cup of coffee, who wants to wait when the cake is already served? This should not happen, especially during such busy hours. It seems that the servers really need more training and a genuine interest in improving the overall dining experience. I've never encountered the same server twice, which might explain some of the inconsistency. The food itself was delicious, so while I want to be optimistic about this restaurant, I cannot overlook the service issues. Unfortunately, that was not reflected in the tip at all. "

"This restaurant is a fantastic spot to dine. There’s ample free parking available, which makes it convenient. The staff was outstanding, attentive, and consistently on top of everything. We started with the Romaine salad, which is a generous portion that’s great for sharing, and it was delicious! The Funghi pizza was incredible—cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. We also indulged in the wood-fired brownie served with vanilla ice cream and caramel, which was simply amazing! This is definitely a place worth visiting often!"

"Came here on Valentines day and of course it was so hectic. Got 2 of the Valentines specials, which was $99 for each, and the amount of food was abundant. Nice atmosphere even though tables were set very close to one another, which made the customers a little uncomfortable moving around. Staffs were super nice yet the service was a little off. "It was quiet there on Sunday night, but the food was plentiful and delicious. The chicken tender basket appetizer was fantastic, particularly with the fries. The Cajun fries were seasoned perfectly and not overly salty. I recommend trying the seafood bucket, which is 1 liter and definitely a lot of food to take home. The crispy crab legs paired with the special bucket sauce were a real highlight. Enjoyed every bite!"

"Four people each ordered onion soup and shared grilled calamari, caesar salad, potter house for two, and filet mignon two sides, and the portions were just right. The steak was impeccably delicious, and I was personally very satisfied with the medium-grilled fillet mignon. If you are sharing, they cut the meat in advance and distribute it to each person on their plate. If you want to take a picture, you can tell them in advance so you can take a picture before sharing. I ordered a variety of desserts and they were delicious and not too sweet. It can be a bit cold inside in the summer, so it would be a good idea to bring some outerwear. It's a bit pricey, but it's delicious, so I recommend it!"

"location fantastic, romantic, super for sunset dinner on the beach. because it is a popular beach, its view of beach residents can be blocked that want to make photos. eat well; better than most, chic mood with edible flowers. some Asian influence, but the execution is not what I would describe top notch (e.g. a sashimi like kanpachi carpaccio court is accompanied by plucked ingwer, but the ingwer is not great; the courts are ok, only not fine details, and the aromen are not everything to write to house about.) service our wait staff was beautiful and courteous. chill but attentive. he tried a lot to make our dinner, but he couldn't fix it. worth for $130/pp plus drinks I had better dinner, but location, location, location, location. it is waikiki. I wouldn't recommend it to one eat, but it was a nice enough meal with good company and a killer sunset view."

"As for our meals, my boyfriend chose the iceberg wedge salad, which was fresh and nicely dressed, and he really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, my experience with the scallop appetizer ($12) was quite different. It arrived with just two sea scallops sitting on a few small fingerling potatoes, which felt very underwhelming. I felt insulted, to say the least—I pay $15 a pound for fresh sea scallops at my local fish market. I understand that restaurants need to make a profit, but charging $6 for a single scallop seems outrageous. When we mentioned the small portion size to the bartender, he reacted defensively and insisted we weren’t being ripped off. What happened to the idea that the customer is always right? There are many dining options on Aquidneck Island, and I won’t be returning to this one."

"First time eating here last night, but we will be back. Food was very good. My husband had the filet and I had rack of lamb. Both delicious. My husband said the ceasar salad was his least favorite of what we ate. Prices were more expensive then online menu but its a steakhouse, so you can't expect cheap for the quality served. I saw a few kids dining but I'm not sure if I'd bring mine for this type of menu. Don't know if there is a kids menu. Service was outstanding and on NYE! Nice addition to Stamford food scene."

"I ordered a roasted pork burrito and it was so greasy it was inedible. The grease was literally dripping from the burrito in a stream. I wrapped the bottom of the burrito in napkins and it saturated at least five. It dripped onto the front of my dress andgot all over my hands. Additionally, our family of five waited over 30 minutes for our food which was a fairly simple order.Tortilla chips were stale. I had a few bites of my burrito and one tortilla chip and had to throw both in the trash."
