"I've been here a couple of times but this time it was a little disappointing. The braesola starter which I love really saved up on the mushrooms. And they were plain old mushrooms, not the fabulous wild mushrooms they had in the past. I was amazed. The pasta specifically was salty and dry. The fried calamari and prawns were very salty too. The quality of the food that goes into the meals is really top notch. In their defense, we went there right after the holiday weekend and maybe it was a little different. It won't stop us from coming back in the hope that it was an anomaly rather than the norm."

"Woody’s is a regular for us. We started with a couple martinis and bread served with the raspberry butter. The service is perfect for us. We’re never in a hurry. Not the kind of place to have food in your face 5 minutes after sitting down. This trip I had the filet, maple salted Brussels sprouts and the Gouda Mac and cheese. My wife had the filet, a salad and baked potato. Excellent! Their filets are always perfectly cooked and as good as we’ve ever eaten. This trip was no exception."

"My wife and I celebrated our wedding day here, together with my brother and sister-in-law. The prices were something on the high side, but you get what you pay. The increasing costs for everything on the board is also blame. The atmosphere was great. The server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was on site. All we ordered had exceeded expectations. As simple as it may sound: the potato soup was absolutely delectable. Walleye fingers and salmon were fantastic. We enjoyed our visit very much. We'll be safe in the future."
