"I wish this place was good as we love Paradise Biryani Pointe in Lowell. We went here with high expectations based on that. Oh Boy, where do I start, 1. My first mistake was that I assumed this place is similar to their franchise in Lowell Paradise Biryani in Lowell which is very good!. Apparently, they share just the name. That is about it. Food, service, quality everything here sucked. 2. We ordered two biryanis. A chicken and a goat hyd dum biryanis. They both sucked. Tasteless. I wonder how there can be this much of a difference between franchises. I am thinking they have no relation at all. If it is the same recipe, it can't be this bad. We had to throw most of the food away. 3. They never pick up the phone. I have to try like 5 times before they picked up the phone to take an order for a pickup. They said it will take 45 min to an hour which is longer than most other places. 4. Finally, this is the worst part. We ordered a chicken pepper fry appetizer to go with the dinner. Apparently, their appetizer is full of gravy, like a chicken korma, NOT dry. This is different than anywhere else. Try eating chicken korma as an appetizer. Tasted like ****. Very disappointing experience. I will NEVER go back here again. Even though Lowell is far out, I will either drive there or go to Bavarchi in Framingham which is much better though they are a bit salty for my taste. Surprising these guys are still in business. Wish there is an option to give 0 stars!"

"NEWEST UPDATE 8 3 23: We did try Masala again, and ordered all VERY mild, but their level of spice is just too much for us. Very good food, but too spicy for our palate, so for those who like that, it 's great food! : UPDATE And now, this was the fastest owner response to a complaint we 've ever had! The owner called me approx 1.5 hours after I called in to tell them about the spice level problem, and apologized profusely. He hadn 't even read this review yet. He is refunding our money, said the kitchen mixed up our order with another who wanted medium plus , he has new staff, and so yes, we WILL try them again. He could not have been more apologetic or nicer, and so I will update this review once more after we order mild in the future, and get to EAT mild . : Fastest review turnaround I 've ever done. Ordered at 10:51 a.m. today, it was ready by 11:04, we finished tasting at 11:25. There is VERY little chicken in the korma maybe 4 little pieces and the rest sauce. Both the aloo gobi and the korma were ordered Mild , and BOTH dishes are far too spicy for us to eat. The just over $30 for small portions of overly spiced food is now in the trash. And when we called back to ask if a mistake had been made, as we could not eat their food, the woman answering the phone didn 't seem to care AT ALL. This was our first and now LAST time ordering food from this restaurant."

"Driving back home from Hartford to the Boston area, my wife searched Google for a place to eat off I 84, and Flavors of Nawab was her excellent choice. The reviews were a little overwhelmingly positive, which left us a little suspicious: Did they hire an unscrupulous firm to make up reviews? Turns out, it's just that good. The food and service are top notch. Everything we ordered was a little different from other places, in the way that every family has their own recipes, their own take on classic dishes. But more importantly, everything was delicious. My wife ordered the mutton korma, and we shared the pani puri appetizer, palak paneer, and their home made mint lime drink, all wonderful. Some people might be a little hesitant about the thin sauce that comes with the pani puri: it smells a little sulfurous, but don't be discouraged. It tastes fantastic. The acid from the lime and the cooling from the mint helped with the spiciness, but even without that, the flavors would have kept me digging in. The entrées alone would have earned the 5 star rating, but it all worked so perfectly together.Dessert was something I had never tried: falooda with ice cream. The high quality but straightforward Ice cream with a red syrup was on top of a delicious pudding with, I think, noodles mixed in! Sounds weird to this American, but it was great, and made a nice pairing, different textures, different temperatures, different flavors...And if all this wasn't enough, as we were driving away, they chased us down... my wife had left her purse, and they sprinted across their parking lot to make sure we didn't drive off!We pass this way frequently, driving from the Boston area to points south and west, and I look forward to trying more of their menu. There is no aspect of this place that is anything other that fabulous.TL:DR Eat here. It's really good.Vegetarian options: They have an excellent assortment of vegetarian options (vegan, I'm not so sure about .Kid friendliness: They have a nice, boring kids menu French fries, chicken tenders, and the like to satisfy boring but picky kids' palates, while the parents can get something different and lovely. For the more adventurous kids, they also can adjust the spice levels, so you don't melt your children's faces off. :"
