"As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the impressive variety of empanadas available, so we chose to start our meal with a couple of assortments—both baked and fried. Each was cooked to perfection: the baked empanadas were neither too doughy nor dry, and the fried ones were delightfully crispy without being greasy. My favorites, which I highly recommend, were the mushroom, ham and cheese, corn, and sausage empanadas. The sausage was particularly outstanding—I've never tasted one that could rival it!
For our main courses, I opted for something from their lunch menu, which is very reasonably priced. You can get Argentinian sandwiches with soup or grilled items with a side and a cup of wine. I chose the NY strip steak cooked to a perfect medium-rare, accompanied by their recommended beet potato salad, which I absolutely loved. My boyfriend and I also decided to share a few smaller items: morcilla (blood sausage), Argentinian chorizo, and sweetbreads. The blood sausage was the best I’ve ever had—I often order it from other places, but this was on another level. I had never tried sweetbreads before, and they were simply AMAZING, perfectly cooked. I’ll definitely be back just for those!
I can’t wait to return, and meeting the owner, Carla, was a true pleasure. She’s a passionate butcher who took the time to explain her menu to us. It was clear that she wholeheartedly supports the local community and fellow Argentinian restaurant owners, which I really appreciate. I highly recommend checking this place out!
