"The staff here are incredibly nice and seated us quickly. They were super friendly and got our food to us in no time! I have to say, everything is made from scratch because there’s no way the food could taste that amazing otherwise! I can’t emphasize enough that this is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Southern Illinois. I always make it a point to return whenever I'm back in town!"

"I am honestly pretty disappointed after my last visit. Ive been ordering cakes from here multiple times and kept coming back because it was really great. This time around, ordered cake in advance,, asked for writing on it, they said to come in and they ll do it because they were worried i wasnt going to pick it up. (Weird) so i came in, asked for writing, said 'sorry we re busy we cant '. I literally showed up 20 min after the call, how rude. I told the girl that thats what whoever i said on the phone said, she kept saying they 're too busy and was incredibly rude. No offense, but all customers, walk in, call in, big or small order is a customer, who may come back in the future. This is extremely rude and I am not going to come back anymore."

"I took my family to this restaurant for my wife's birthday dinner. We waited over 30 minutes before realizing that our order had not been placed. The server who took our order seemed uninterested and barely apologized, avoiding us afterwards. I expressed my disappointment and was promised compensation, but when the bill came, there was no compensation and the server had already left for the night. I paid the bill without leaving a tip for the server. The food was okay, but the overall experience left a bad taste in my mouth. It would have been nice if they had offered a free appetizer or a special birthday treat for my child to make up for the delay in our order."

"I had a fantastic late lunch at this place! I ordered a chicken pesto crepe, which was delicious, and my friend chose the chocolate strawberry crepe. Both were served hot and tasty, and there were plenty of seating options available. There was a bit of oil seeping out of mine, but I just grabbed some napkins and it wasn't a big deal. The way they packaged the crepes also made them easy to hold and eat. Overall, a great experience!"

"Food here is great! Love the Hula Work BBQ meal I ordered. Serving is huge, fulfilling. Authentic Cantonese flavor and service is fast. Enjoyed hearing the chef while he is cooking in the kitchen, brings back memories of some restaurants in Chinatown. Place is also nice and cozy. Good for family or group of friends dining in. Definitely recommended to those looking or craving Cantonese food. Parking: Common parking and free with access to other stores nearby."

"9/17/17 was my first time at this bakery. I 've lived in the area for 15 years and always used Chester Heights Bakery closed in June 2017 . I was very concerned where I would get cakes that were comparable to their 's and having a lot of birthdays in September I wasn 't sure what I was going to do. I remember the recommendation that I wrote in my phone for this particular bakery and boy am I glad I kept it! My sister was turning 40 and her husband called me up the night before he decided to have a spur of the moment party for her with family and friends totaling 40 people. I found this out at 5 o 'clock on Saturday and the party was the next day on Sunday, September 17. Not wanting to bring the store-bought cake for the specific occasion I looked up the hours of this bakery and was at their door five minutes after they officially opened. Young lady and the baker looked at each other and the baker decided to honor my last-minute request I couldn 't of been more pleased with the outcome! I 'm looking to become a permanent customer whether or not my former bakery decides to open at another location. Thank you! Thank you! Everyone thought the cake tasted delicious and it did-"
