"I was just going in to get my food after a long work day and the assistant literally came at me for having “onions in the food” and then said “oh yeah you would always call back and yell at me because there would be onions in your food and your brother would be the one that would never tell me that you didn’t want onions in your food and I would get in and then I would get yelled at. That scene took place 2012 was like 12 years ago. I honestly cannot believe how embarrassed and unprofessional this Interaction was I will never never coming back and I feel so uncomfortable. I probably won’t ever be leaving my house. I’m so hurt sopie has known me since I came to America since I was four the owner loved us."

"I have wanted to try this spot for awhile, and I typically will not review somewhere without actually eating the food, but I walked in to this location and was hit with an immediate horrible smell. I am not even sure what the smell was, maybe old fish or something, but it was so overbearing and unsettling that I knew I couldn't eat here. I got a sticky menu from the very nice waitress and sat down in a dark booth to a water with an off-putting taste and had to leave. Maybe it was just that day, but anytime you walk into a restaurant that has that bad of a smell, I can only imagine what is going on behind those kitchen doors."

"The guy was absolutely disrespectful to me because I would not show him my phone screen because I have private information running besides the GrubHub app. I am not obligated to show any information on my phone screen when I can just simply tell them the order name and number. The guy even said it’s their policy to check my phone but yet is it also their policy to discriminate against someone for their gender? I simply corrected him letting him know I’m a female and not a male he said to the guy on the phone who is actually driver care when I called for GrubHub and he said he she whatever it is is what he said on a recorded phone line, I also have a discrimination report ongoing with GrubHub about this incident at the moment and I’m giving them the details of what happened to also pull that phone call I hope this guy loses his job"

"During the lockdown, portion sizes decreased while prices remained the same, though the quality slightly improved. This kept us coming back. However, since returning to normal, the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly. The last three times we ordered were disappointing, and the fourth visit will be our last. The General Tso's chicken was dry and lacking in spice. I opted for chicken wings, which were small and burnt. The Beef Teriyaki had minimal meat and veggies, drowned in sauce. The fried rice was inedible, tasting like spoiled meat. The only redeeming factor were the crispy fortune cookies. We will not be returning to Oriental Pearl again."

"Some of the best food in Boulder. They have an extensive menu, and it's made to order. To get the best experience and best quality food, order at the window, pay cash and throw them a dollar and some change. The food comes out screaming hot and it's always great. A great couple runs it and they're always happy to see people in their window. General taos chicken, orange chicken, orange beef are some of my favorites. Hot and sour soup is always good too."

"The wings are not what you expect. They were the size of my thumbs. There was more breading and seasoning than wing itself. They came on top of fried rice and then covered in a whole 2 pounds of grilled onions. And then they dumped 4 pounds of knock off cheap lemon pepper on top. So dissatisfied that it ruined my whole day. I can't get the taste out of my mouth. It's like if you ransacked a trash can and found pieces of food and mixed it together. And the rice was even worse. Didn't know you could mess up rice. I don't have a photo because it looks good but is not what it looks like. Sorry for the bad review I'm just disappointed that that's still on the menu. Don't know how people like that. But I guess you get what you pay for since it was only $12.50. Service was great though so that's why I gave it at least 1 star. If Rick Hollbrook tells you this place is good, he likes to eat trash. Don't believe his recommendations."

"It's been forever since I've eaten here. The fried oysters were huge and perfectly cooked. The fried shrimps were fresh and perfectly cooked. The onion rings were excellent. The Vietnamese egg rolls were also delicious. The seafood gumbo was full of shrimp and was absolutely wonderful. I'm sorry, the pictures look like half-eaten plates. That's because everything was so good, sampling model turned into shaking like hungry wolves, Lol. Almost the roasted rice was very good."

"Joined my friend for dinner. He ordered the Curry Frog Legs. I tried to order the Fried Duck. Unfortunately they were out of the duck. I was frustrated that I was not told they were out of duck until after his order of Frog Legs were already brought to our table. After he had began eating, did they come back out to tell me they were out of duck. I then ordered the fried Pig Intestines. While waiting for my order, I tried the Curry Frog Legs. The Frog Legs had some good heat and flavor to it. The Legs were cooked perfectly, too. Everything was very flavorful. When my intestines came out, it came with a citrusey sauce to pour on it. With a but of Sriracha sauce and that on top, the flavor was great. The Intestines were fried great. To drink we had a pot of Chrysanthemum tea, which was loose leaf and delicious. The service was a little slow for us, but seemed attentive to the larger parties. The food was great, I would definitely visit again. But with a larger party."

"I wanted to come by, but I never had a chance until my mother and sister were in town. Boy, I'm glad we shot it! We had blurred all morning, so we were hungry, so we have a lot of things to try... I can tell you that everything we tried was amazing! The jumbo roasted popcorn shrimps were juicy and had a delicious, crispy coating that was different from others I had. The fish was fresh and perfectly fried. The Bouudain balls were also beautiful and delicious. I think about her gum! The Roux was super delicious and had a lot of chicken, sausage and shrimp. It was devine!"
