"As locals in St. Augustine, we visit this pub regularly, more often than any other restaurant in town, and many locals and returning visitors do the same. Over plates of fish and chips, their delicious quiche special, and a pint or a glass of wine, many of us have formed friendships while sitting on the porch. A significant part of the pub's charm lies in the atmosphere, which was highlighted in a previous review. For those of us who have traveled to both countries, finding an authentic 'Irish pub' vibe is a rare gem, and we truly appreciate it at the Prince of Wales. This is the most enjoyable restaurant in town, consistently providing a fun, comfortable, and welcoming environment. It’s our go-to place for introducing both old and new friends, as well as out-of-town guests, knowing that Trish and the entire staff will ensure a delightful meal, a warm welcome, and a memorable experience."
