"My husband and I goes to this diner for years every weekend. He always order the Papa Johns and I order Cousin Jeffs. Couple of months ago, this diner had an upgrade and with under new management the place changed. New decor, new interior look and its good. But the change was not for the better. At the first weekend after the new management, the food took so long, almost 1 hour and a half. It was understandable because of the adjustment. Every weekend we still go and have our breakfast and it gets worse everytime. Today, might be our last visit to this diner. My food was swimming in oil and grease and I can?t even eat half of it. I was draining it out of my plate to a napkin trying to eat breakfast. The cook has definitely changed and can?t keep up with the fast pace of this diner. It was quiet as hell. The bar side is empty, there were vacant tables where it usually is overflowing with a long line waiting. Cindy was not there to greet everybody, We no longer see Ashley and Stacey who were so exceptionally wonderful, no offense to the new servers , they did good too but I feel like the management is not seeing that the long time regulars are not coming in anymore. The old servers are not around, the old time regulars which we got to know and familiar seeing with every weekend are not coming anymore and the food is bad. I hope this business will pick up for the better or will go back to how it usually work."

"The POOR ratings that are required per the instructions are given as these comments should explain. We have gone to Cooper House about 10 times since it 's renovation and renewal. A beautiful site, a great beer listing and always something to satisfy my appetite. We/I have never been dissatisfied and I would give them superior marks based on those experiences;HOWEVER: I always rely on their website for up to date hours, access to menu, etc and lately have been using open table for a reservation. However, last Friday, contrary to what their page indicated they were not open nor apparently was open table aware of that either. This follows upon a drive for dinner on Jan. 2nd. Although the web page stated open, they were in fact closed. On Dec. 22 we drove over( a minimum 30 min. 1 way trip) only to arrive to find the place hired out for a private party. No mention of that on their web page either. I have complained/explained and received an apology for what I consider inattentiveness to their customers. It seems to me it 's a managerial issue. But the web page continues to state the same information. Someone needs to take care of that (at least). There are other eating establishment in nearby towns: Collingswood, Westmount, Haddonfield, but none has the unique setting combined with a well thought out menu and a great beer selection that Cooper House offers. I would like to see Cooper House succeed. It 's a great space with good food. But, hey, it 's almost a strike out as far as I 'm concerned. Thanks for the opportunity to critique what must be some internal problem, since the hostess and wait staff and service have always been superior when they have been there to serve us."
