"I’ve ordered from this restaurant twice this week, and while the food is fantastic, the service leaves much to be desired. During my first online order, I was initially informed that it hadn’t been received, only to later find out that it had been sent to another customer. On my second online order, the food was delivered to the wrong location, so I had to place my order over the phone. When the food finally arrived, it was incorrect—receiving a chicken burrito instead of a vegetarian option was quite disappointing. The food is delicious when you actually receive it, but the service issues make it a frustrating experience."

"Pasta Vita has become a staple for us during Covid the portions are very generous, tasty, and easy to heat up. We keep a few meals from Pasta Vita on hand each week in the fridge to make our lives easier and we always look forward to them. "Pasta Vita bills itself as Gourmet to go and they do a delicious job! First, the quality and taste of food is fantastic. Most of the dishes they prepare are enough for two, with sides if you're big eater. From salad to stromboli, with chicken and pasta dishes in between and it is what you would expect from a restaurant at a fair price.Then, the staff are very friendly and service forward. Choose from their menu, if you can't get there for a couple days, call they will save it for you! I do because I go almost every week, love this place!"

"Finally got a chance to try Sol with my favorite lady in Charlotte, NC this past weekend. We didn't receive the warmest welcome at Sol. I didn't like the host's attitude, who cared more about our reservation than a formal greeting. But, we came for the food and not his temperament. After finally being seated, we ordered the Green Chile Chicken Nachos for an appetizer and margaritas on the rocks. The nachos balanced the bad vibe we encountered coming through the door. Lots of flavor and fresh ingredients. The margaritas were delicious as well. Kudos to the bartender. For my entree, I ordered the Wood-Fire Grilled Salmon over smoked gouda grits. The salmon was good. The red chile glaze was a nice touch on top of the grilled flavor. The grits on the other hand...were room temp, stiff, and lumpy. I didn't taste the flavor of the smoked gouda cheese and the poblano peppers had no spice...very disappointing. My fiancée enjoyed her Chicken Enchiladas entree, which had to be sent back the first time to be corrected for an additional minute wait. All in all, it is a nice modern style restaurant with a relaxed, intimate atmosphere. If you can ignore the lack of hospitality you may encounter and avoid the smoked gouda grits, I'm sure Sol can satisfy your taste buds."

"Ordered tamales that had good flavor, and spinach enchiladas that were too cheesy, and I like cheese! Also, I love the rice and refried beans that are typical with Mexican dishes. The beans at El Comalito were fine but the rice was pretty flavorless and undercooked. Service was meh our waitress didn’t return after the food was delivered to see if we needed anything. After we finished eating, we sat talking for another 20 30 minutes with our plates in front of us. When no one came to clear our table or ask if we wanted anything else, we had to flag someone down to get our bill. We put a credit card down. The waitress brought the wrong bill and card to us. There were only 2 other tables so we were able to figure out who had our bill."

"Overall, my experience at the restaurant was quite positive. I ordered a burrito, but I felt it had too much rice, making it somewhat mushy. On the plus side, the other ingredients were excellent. The cashier had estimated a wait time of about 15 minutes, and that turned out to be accurate. The food was flavorful, although not spectacular. Aside from the extra rice in my burrito, everything else was up to par. In summary, I had a nice experience with the service, as the wait time was just as the cashier had indicated."

"EL MARIACHI MEXICAN GRILL is expansive, with a large, heated, tent-covered patio. Inside and outside, this sports centric eatery has enough big-screen televisions to support an appliance shop. "I was about to type a generic good food good service sentence and my husband reminded me about the cornbread croutons. For dinner one Thursday evening we were in town and decided to try the Lazy Dog. I ordered the Southern Fried Chicken salad and atop the salad were cornbread croutons. These are delicious little bites of cornbread baked as croutons and I wish I could buy them by the bagful. Appetizer we tried was fried deviled eggs, and I understand that sounds weird, but whoa they were excellent and tasty with a small piece of the bacon candy adorning their greatness. My husband ordered the PB&J burger (which included bacon candy yum) and the bite I tried was very good. The side of pickled cucumbers was a small dish of thinly sliced cucumbers that had been pickled in vinegar with radishes, also tasty. I also ordered and drank a Huckleberry Mule which definitely could have used more vodka as the ginger beer fought the flavors of the lemon and huckleberry pretty fiercely. We would eat here again."

"Decided to hit up a local brewery and chose here with my gal and best freind. Food: Exceptional. We had the Buffalo Cauliflower for an appetizer and it was awesome. We all ordered a different burger and each of couldn 't stop bragging we 'd ordered the best one. Because they all came out great. Service: Outstanding! Our hostess went out of her way to ensure we ordered the right beverages. She brought us a sample of each beer they made. Her personality was warm, friendly, and caring. BTW, her name is Kelly. And she was hands down one of the best servers we 've had in a long time. Atmosphere: Cozy Comfortable. This place feels like your at a mountain lodge only decked out with some of most unique dog art we 'd ever seen. It provided us with visual aesthetically entertaining dog features in every direction. If that wasn 't stimulating enough, they also had multiple televisions set up running several sports games to capture your attention. It all made for a very enjoyable experience. Update!!!: Third Times a Charm Three visits to date since first checking this place out and BAMMM every time they consistently leave us extremely pleased we went there! They 've got excellent food without question but going out and enjoying truly yourself requires a step above the rest. Lazy Dog of Ventura 's atmosphere is that of a cozy lodge like setting yet found in location you 'd almost never expect. And best of all, their staff consistantly provides patrons with superior attitudes, personalized attention, and a unquestably joyful experience. Nat was our recently host server 's name. And he like the others there flat knocked it out the park! BTW, he went out of his way to give us a few cool alternative places to go out and have a good time at. It was like having a hip local tour guide tell us where the local in places where located. We found Nat is also a talented Pianist that plays regularly at a place called, The Grape. We 'll definitely be checking that venue out. If his music is anything like his presence we 're bound to have an equally great time. Thanks Nat! "I ordered a Caesar Salad and a Three Thieves Pinot Grigio that I hadn’t tried before. While the wine had an appealing aroma, it was extremely bitter. As for the salad, the dressing was definitely not a Caesar dressing; if you closed your eyes and tasted it, you wouldn’t be able to identify it. The croutons were among the hardest I’ve ever encountered, leaving me quite disappointed. I don’t usually order dessert, but I opted for the chocolate brownie sundae this time. That was definitely a hit and I would order it again! Now, regarding the service: it was not busy at all, yet it took 10 minutes for a waitress to come to my table. After bring the wine menu, she vanished. Once I received my salad, she didn’t check on me for a good 40 minutes and only appeared later to process my payment. She never inquired about how my food was or if I needed anything else. I had to stop her from rushing me to pay so I could request dessert. After she brought it out, it took another 10 minutes for her to return and check on me. They close at midnight, and I wasn’t the only customer there. I wasn’t trying to linger until closing time, and I found her attempts to hurry me out quite off-putting. Despite my frustration with both the food and the service, I still left her a decent tip. Will I return? No, the food quality hasn’t improved since my first visit, and there are other places nearby with better food and service."

"Real blue fresh food. Do not think about it as a Mexican restaurant, but as a taco community (you order chips and salsa from the appetizer menu). This is not a cost-effective regular lunch place that will fill you, but a clean place that offers fresh ingredients and full flavors. With this understanding you can enjoy the distinctive blue maize tortillas and friendly service. I ate with two other frequent travelers and we were all impressed by the flavors and simple presentation. I went with the Cali Catfish Taco and the tuna Taco, but if I lived in the area, I would certainly return to try their Burritos and Quesadillas. The Guacamole was good and I really asked myself about the Veggie filled Portobello (appearants). The real fascinating detail about Mexicali Blue was the abundance of hot sauces that they had to try. Located on a side counter, I almost forgot them and finally scanned them with the remaining chips. This is certainly not a place I would go to all the time when I would recommend on a student budget, but definitely something I would recommend!"

"On our last night visiting our kids (we live in Michigan-they live in Texas), we chose lazy dog. There was no waiting, we were seated right away. I was truly impressed with the interior decor. The birch looking trees by the concierge lent an air of nature. The metal dog sculptures were pretty awesome. I loved the beams in the high ceiling, very cool and I am inspired to create something similar in my own home. The fireplace wall was awesome, huge and the deer head mounted on it was unique and fitting. The restaurant was clean and spacious, easy to see from the road. Our waitress was Margaret and she was very friendly, knowledgeable seemed happy to be there. She brought our drinks right away. My son enjoyed the Alaskan Halibut. He raved about how good it was. The rest of us were slightly disappointed. IMO, the lazy dog takes the usual menu offerings but puts their on twist on it. There’s nothing wrong with that, it just didn’t meet our expectations. The queso was orange cheese with a different flavor-not bad, but not what we were expecting either. My daughter got the fried chicken meal. The seasoning in the breading was, different, unusual. Four of us tried it, the only one that really enjoyed it was my son. I got the pot roast beef dip. That was good and tasty. Both I and my daughter enjoyed the sandwich. The onion rings didn’t have much taste and I found them unremarkable. Hubbs got the cheeseburger which he liked and my acquired daughter got the all American burger which she liked. The portions of food were generous, but I felt the prices were high. I’m glad we tried this restaurant, but it is not going on my “must return” or favorite lists."

"So here's the scoop.. I went out for dinner at Original Joe's Thursday night. I have to say, after having been in the bar/restaurant service industry myself for 9 years in the past, it was one of the best server experiences I've had in AGES!!! From beginning to end, every single person was welcoming, happy, and calmly accommodating, even though the place was completely packed (we even had to park over by Shopper's !! Our waitress (Nikki, a little cute thing with fun eye makeup was super friendly, and took the proper time to explain everything, go through specials, and didn't rush any of our orders or replies even though she was clearly busy. Most places I know of (not in town would have been frantic, edgy, running into each other, treating you like you're a bother, rolling their eyes at coworkers, but the staff at this place all seemed to run like a well oiled machine and really worked great together! Even the bartender took some extra time with a man ordering food to explain each and every single side dish option in detail to help the man decide what to get with his steak, just to help him feel a little more comfortable because he obviously wasn't a regular and was sitting alone. The food was hot, fast and complete, with tables of happy customers turned over ridiculously fast, and I just wanted to give a great big shout out to a great job well done to all of the staff that was there!! Even on our way out, every single staff member we passed took a moment to pause, smile and thank us for coming! I often become very disappointed when I receive crappy service because I would love nothing more than to be able to leave a great big tip every time. "Was my first time here. They gave us complementary chips which was super sweet. I love their history and how they were a family business from a small town focused on fresh ingredients. The menu is very diverse and if you have dietary restrictions, you’ll probably be able to find something to eat. The portions are not huge but just right. The Thai chicken had great flavor the chicken was a little tough but I think it was because it was white meat, which is healthier but a tougher part of the chicken. Everyone has a great time. I would say expect to spend about $30/ person for food, drink, tax and tip no appetizers."
