"I've been meaning to leave this place a good review ever since my first meal, but I've been back several times over the past year and they seriously never disappoint. The salads may seem over priced at around $12 or so, but they PACK IT ON and absolutely make it worth every penny. The photo I included here is the Greek salad I got today with chicken shawarma on top and this will serve as two meals for me. The other plates for lunch are also killer, their food is high quality and service is amazing. I've also noticed the staff is very nice to customers as well as each other, something that's important to me don't like supporting places that seem to have a toxic work environment. They're quick, efficient, and very friendly people. Overall 5/5 stars and will keep on coming back routinely for my lunches! Love this place!"

"I used to work at Children's Hospital, so I used to eat here quite frequently. It's been years since my last visit, but I decided to pick up my favorite: the chicken nacho salad. I also ordered an enchilada dinner, and both dishes were excellent. The salad was just as delicious as I remembered. However, it would have been even better if I hadn't had to endure a 35-minute drive home before I could enjoy it. I believe the salad dressing is homemade, as is the roasted salsa, which is also very tasty!"

"Well, I've been coming to the 14th st. location since it opened. I don't come here much anymore since I don't work close by. I was in the neighborhood last Sunday and stopped in around 2 am and was disappointed. The restaurant has turned into an assembly line non personalized experience. I like a chicken on pita sandwich (since the day they've opened I've never been able to get grilled onions which always bugged me), I was hungry. I got my sandwich (with the un cooked onions) and was charged over $10 for this. When I got home (a few blocks away) the chicken was barely warm with the hard onions and a smaller (than I'm used to) sandwich. It made me realize that the Halal guys were a fad (and that it has passed). I work on 12th and avenue A and have found a Halal truck (close by) that gives me a great sandwich (as I like with grilled onions) personalized greetings by the cook and all for $8. Bye bye Halal guys (you are too commercialized for this native New Yorker)."

"The falafel wrap was fantastic! The ingredients were perfectly balanced, ensuring each bite was full of flavor. The falafel was moist, and the lavash had just the right texture—not too soft and not too stiff. Delicious! The fries were also tasty, but I recommend using a container with holes to prevent them from getting soggy from the heat. The delivery was quick, so the fries held up well, but they could have become soggy if the delivery had taken longer."

"I really needed something to eat late at night and also didn't feel like cooking. I decided to try out the Halal Guys after watching my colleague practically vacuuming up the food from earlier on. I appreciated how quickly the order was ready. Their food didn't disappoint! I am used to eating spicy food so I felt they were under-seasoned and bland. I preferred the chicken instead of gyro meat because I thought it tasted less gamey. I also loved their shawarmas. I wouldn't mind ordering again with just chicken. I would add extra cucumbers and tomatoes on my own. Perhaps some extra mint leaves. Their white sauce was delicious as well. Looking forward to ordering from them again. Rounding up a 3.5 to a 4 because of the otherwise solid service despite it nearly closing time and honoring my request of not adding lettuce."

"Had an outstanding experience with Josh and Pedro, they greeted everyone that was in front of me and even overheard him having a great conversation with a gentleman visiting Houston. The gentleman wished they had a Halal Guys in every city! Either way, when it came my turn to order food he said there would be an 8 min wait for the chicken, I said no worries and proceeded back to my truck, I made a block and reparked at the side location. I came back inside and Josh was like I was looking for you! I thought you left! Had a good laugh with him, but it feels great to have small talk nowadays, especially at a quick service joint. You other fast food restaurants need to step your game up!"

"Great place, had a great time at grand opening only down was when my son asked the girl if he could spin the wheel she said no I already sent you inside when she literally is showing us in the door. He didn't care if he won only that he got the spin the wheel, broke his little 7 yr old heart that he wasn't allowed. Aside from that had a great time and enjoyed food greatly. Also we met with family there great place. We even returned tonight for another round whole family loved it."

"I visited for lunch today and I must say, the customer service was outstanding. The manager, who was actively assisting, swiftly supported the team during a busy rush. As I moved down the line, I found the staff to be incredibly friendly. Not to mention, the food was fresh, delicious, and plentiful. I tried the lamb and beef combo sandwich, and it was fantastic. Since the pandemic, I haven't experienced such excellent service until now. Highly recommend!"

"this place is a GODSEND! The food is amazing. The service is amazing; shoutout to Hayley, Nova, and Cliff! Their fries have routinely brought me back from the dead. I don’t live near the university anymore but that doesn’t stop me from trekking alllll the way across town for this place. Vegetarian options: I am not a vegetarian, but there are days where I simply don’t want meat and I can always find an animal friendly dish here! I love their vegetarian club!"
