"I was surprised to see how highly rated this place was on Google, but then I spotted some photos of regular customers from Saturday. Before going to my friend's birthday party there last Saturday, I read the reviews on Yelp but really wanted to give the place the benefit of the doubt for her sake. Unfortunately, it turned out to be just as bad, if not worse, than the reviews suggested.
Upon arriving, I walked in to find the DJ/Manager telling my friend's family that they couldn't bring in their own cake, despite being assured it would be okay when they reserved the tables. And speaking of reservations, they didn’t even have one for her party! The whole situation was quite disorganized.
We were initially told that if we had dinner there, we wouldn’t be charged for the celebration, but then the door lady started collecting $10 from everyone, which felt very tacky. Even tackier was how they took my friend's cake and paraded it around the dance floor on a trolley. The same person who initially said the cake wasn’t allowed was the one showcasing it, and even brought over a random birthday girl to share in the moment and pose with my friend's cake. It was incredibly inappropriate.
