"Service was friendly and decently paced. No waiting with reservations made ahead of time. The place was well ventilated, clean and safety considerations were obvious. With both inside and outside options, they are taking the safety of their employees and their clients seriously. All employees wore their masks at all times and the QR option for menu and payment is appreciated for minimal contact.The food is enjoyable and a bit closer to traditional Mexican than the standard TexMex. The price definitely reflects that as well, both in the food and the alcohol even for the more lowend of the bar, so don't expect a huge amount of food and headsized glasses of booze for little amount of . And be forewarned when they ask if you want chips and guacamole, they charge you for the guac even if they forget to mention it. And like with everything else, its higher than you'd expect or used to seeing in other places.Its hard to say how the ambience or noise level is there, given the restricted seating inside and out due to COVID. "I have to give a shoutout to the friendly and accommodating woman who took my phone order. She even recommended the vegan sour cream, which was delicious! I opted for the Asian veggie sub with vegan cheese, and it was incredibly tasty. I also enjoyed their salsa. My only issue was the price - $18 for two small quesadillas was a bit steep. However, I still left satisfied. I would recommend checking out this place, especially if you are making the transition from omnivore to herbivore like me!"

"Visited June 21, 2023. First time visiting. Decor and interior is reminiscent of an old school lounge dark, and a lot of old but cool decor. My waitress was quick and attentive. I ordered a lunch special, Burger Basket. It came with fries, and the burger had all the fixings. I 'll admit, it was a really good burger. It was charred and tasted like it was cooked over an open flame. Think of a Whopper, but actually really good. Fries were not the best, but still okay. "Went with a colleague on a Tuesday evening. We were seated right away. The waitress, Lauren, is a patient, soft spoken and pleasant lady. The restrooms were clean. The auliflower tempura was crispy but lacked flavor. Their bread was fresh out of the oven but it was weird they did not serve butter or any dip with it. My friend had the roasted vegetable salad with grilled chicken which I imagine she liked. I had the Tomohawk pork chop. The pork was so well cooked. The butternut squash with gorgonzola and spinach wasn't a good combination. The thick cut bacon strip really was an odd combination to the dish. Then there was plain melted butter drizzled. I remember when I was a kid, Alberto's had the best California Burrito ???? in SouthernCalifornia, rivaling in comparison with an In&Out Double Double, as far as a food menu item must have. "This restaurant is a complete mess. Some of the staff are related, which leads to constant drama in front of customers. They often get orders wrong, and sometimes the food is even undercooked. One particular employee acts as if she owns the place and frequently shouts at her coworkers in front of patrons, which is extremely unprofessional. It seems that the owner actually appreciates this kind of chaos. I've decided not to return, and I plan to share my experience with others. Also, steer clear of the classic chicken sandwich meal—it's sized for a child but priced for an adult, and it tastes like a frozen chicken patty. Definitely not worth it."

I know it can be hard to find good help, but that doesn't mean customers should have to suffer. My partner and I tried to dine here on a Saturday afternoon, but after waiting for about 10 minutes at the hostess stand, we decided to sit in the bar area instead. The waitress who finally came over to us said it would be another 10 minutes before anyone could assist us, then promptly disappeared before I could say anything. I couldn't leave fast enough and I doubt I will be back. We ended up finding another restaurant elsewhere in the city that provided us with great service and delicious food."
