"Get the Molcajete it is worth it, the Beef Chicken and Shrimp taste really good, the queso fresco on it was like Golden. The cheese enchiladas are good for a tex mex restaurant just not a fan of the chicken enchiladas the shredded chicken wasn't at all tasty flour tortillas are not homemade so I preferred corn for a more authentic taste. Beans and rice taste great the margarita was more on the sweet side so it's not as strong but great for happy hour"

"It?s not even authentic al pastor meat. The flavor was there but the meat texture was far away from authentic al pastor, the closest it got was from here to Mars. However, if I was ignorant of my meats then I would say the meat was good. It was juicy and tender. Still, I cannot express how it is not the quality to judge it against other tacos because it is oranges and apples difference. The place looked alright and I had people mean mugging me because maybe I didn?t fit the profile to eat there but that?s not the restaurant fault. Place looked unsanitary and well the rest is history. If you will order from here, order to go."

"I ordered a beef burrito to go because I picked up a flood order. When I got my food and the customers food. I started getting my burrito and noticed that it was fat and watery, but I had already stared at the trip and couldn't get back. When I eat, the fat, watery juice gets over my hands and my clothes. What a mess I did. I've never ordered a greasy watery burrito. That was my first order from them. When I saw them all eat. And looked good. I stepped out to use the bathroom and when I came back, my food was ready. Less than the ten minutes they told me. I was the only black man at the time. They made all Mexican foods all look good and tasty and made mines all soggy and watery. I would never order them again."

"This is by far my favorite late night food spot in the area. Nothing hits the spot like some of their al pastor tacos and chicken quesadillas after a night out or returning home late after a long trip. Service has always been spot on, and the food comes out quick unless it's one of the rare times they're completely slammed with dine in and delivery orders. I usually just call ahead to avoid even the short wait."

"The queso loaded was sooo good. The salsa has a nice fresh taste with a slight kick. I had Texas enchiladas which were great. My spouse had the botana platter for his entree and it was packed with a lot of food. We definitely had leftovers. The staff were attentive. The one downside is the place does not have much character and with all the windows there is a little bit of a glare if you are seated facing them. I'll over look that since the service and food were good."

"Hit or miss, but when it's bad it's really bad. Me and my coworkers always order them because they are close, but this last time was a comically terrible experience. All of the orders were bad. Like they were lazily put together. 1 order was missing an item completely. The other included several things that were intentionally asked to be kept off and confirmed over the phone, and the last order (a breakfast burrito) albeit not freshly made was also just 80% cactus and 20% egg (missing the cheese and bacon). One of our employees felt strongly (because typically they have been better every other time) called them and asked if they could do something and they said they'd remake it. Then they caught an attitude with her when she went to pick up the replacement order, because she didn't bring the original orders (they were in the trash and the lady on the call didn't ask her to bring the food). Instead of replacing one of the orders they provided what was missing wrapped in aluminum foil, the other two were remade, but you could tell they were mad about it, so I gave mine away. Ever eat an old egg and (almost entirely) cactus burrito? You're not going to be hungry for anything after that. The Mexican restaurants get so much better in killeen. Mistakes happen. I usually don't care, but my coworker didn't deserve to get treated like that, when she was conveying our collective sentiments. I don't recommend this place. Which sucks because there are two ladies working there who are actually very nice and I have had at least one very nice meal there in the past."

"We enjoyed a family dinner on the terrace with the kids. It was wonderful! We had queso and a variety of entrees, all of which were delicious. The service was excellent; I don’t recall needing to ask for anything since everything was taken care of. The ambiance on the terrace was very pleasant as well."

"I attended a birthday event at this restaurant, and my experience was mixed. Even though the Cowboys game was on, the channel in our area was set to something else. It took three requests to get the TV switched to the game, which was quite frustrating. The food was decent, but not remarkable; while the presentation was appealing, it ended up being too salty. The drinks were visually impressive, and the restaurant itself was very clean. We were seated without any issues, but I must say, this place doesn’t compare to Mi Cocina or La Calle Doce. I found the pricing to be on the higher side—our bill for a family of four was $90. In retrospect, I could have chosen Fuzzy’s and enjoyed better quality food. Just my two cents. Additionally, the staff seemed just okay; they appeared to chat more amongst themselves than to pay attention to customers."

"I would suggest this only as drunk food. While not everyone is sensitive to mold, if you are, I would also suggest not eating inside. Just waiting in line for my pre ordered food caused my throat to start closing again, I am very sensitive, and not everyone is. The food was edible. The horchata tasted like horchata, but wasn't anything special. I got nachos with beef. There were 6 full (but cut), cooked with the seeds, jalapeños in the dish, so I couldn't eat it very fas. I wound up tossing half of it because it wasn't worth it. The tacos were tacos. Again, edible. Nothing special. Two corn tortillas, meat, veggies. Food is cheap (yay these days), mostly edible, so great after hours soak up the grease food. Not wonderful sober."

"I've been eating at Adelante for years and am always impressed with how consistently good the food is here. The ingredients are always fresh, the service is good, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend the Mahi tacos on the spicy red corn tortillas, if they have them that day. Also, the cobbler desert is incredible if they are serving it that day. Don't expect typical Tex-Mex here. The menu here is more what I would call Southwestern."

"Been going here for 20 yrs+! Always great food, but in the day of Door Dash fails, LOS GALLOS NEVER DISAPPOINTS! Never missing items, never cold always wrapped secured flawlessly! "This was good. This is a new restaurant so there are clearly some things to work out but over this was a good experience. We arrived just after opening and the staff was still preparing to open. Even still we were seated in a timely manner. The service staff was friendly and nice albeit they were still trying to find their footing and get into a rhythm. We ordered the avocado appetizer to start. This was a good well thought out dish. I do think it could have been presented better if it were cut when served in half but it was a great combination of creamy and crunchy. We were also served chips with two kinds of salsa and a strange (felt out of place) bowl of noodle soup. The chips were not super tasty, maybe day old or just not a high quality. The two types of salsa were very flavorful and fresh. These were the blended kind and I prefer a chicly salsa but that’s just a preference of mine. The soup I don’t understand the value in the soup. It was just broth and noodles. I don’t think it added any value to the experience. Time for entrees. I got the barbacoa plate. This was really good. The black plates were well thought out and the meat was juicy and flavorful. This came with guacamole and a pile of sour cream. These dips were great but could have been a smaller size in my opinion. My husband got fajitas. The grilled vegetables were terrific, well seasoned and expertly cooked. Definitely check out the fajitas here! My only thought is to serve the fajitas immediately out of the heat. Everyone love a good “sizzle” when it comes to the table. Finally dessert. We got the churro donut. This was a terrific dish. Well presented and very tasty. Overall the restaurant was clean. Lots of staff. Be patient with them. It seems like the staff is dedicated and willing to help although obviously trying to get their rhythm. I would definitely eat here again!"

"The server was very pleasant at first, but when I ordered my food without cilantro, it arrived piled high with it. I mentioned that I could scoop it off, but she insisted they'd fix it and took it back. Unfortunately, they just scraped it off and added more salsa on top, leaving a lot of cilantro underneath. After that, the server didn’t come back to check on me, despite seeing me trying to remove the cilantro. She didn’t offer anything else, even though I ended up not eating my meal. Given the prices, the food was only mediocre and not worth a return visit. I cannot recommend this restaurant."
