"I went with a group for a birthday. It was the worst service any of us had ever experienced. Our waiter only took a couple of drink orders and then left for more than 20 minutes before we checked in to take the rest of the table order. For the food we had to tell him that we had to order. Then he took 4 orders, went away and didn't come back. When we got him to come back after telling several other workers we needed to complete the order, he forgot that he had taken the first orders. He finally took a few more orders and went, again not to every person at the table. It took 2 hours in total and the food came out at all different times. We were all honestly very confused about what was happening throughout our dinner."

"This place is so nice. I went here after going to the museum. I wasn't planning to go here but I'm so glad that I did. The restaurant is so charming. It's perfect for if you're going out with friends, family, or going for a date night. The vibe is so nice. The food is delicious. The flavors and textures are just perfect. I had the fish tacos and the nachos. I live so far from here but let me tell you I went home still feeling happy from eating such good food. Tomas was so kind to us. There's art all over the restaurant. Even going into the bathroom, the bathroom was nice and smelled so clean. If I lived closer I would probably just eat nachos and tacos here every week. I was told they also have Sunday brunch. This is an inclusive place, which I think is very cool of them."

"We had salads. The portions were very big and the pricing was fair. The chicken in my salad was so salty, I think it was the marinade, as the other one at our table wasn't. The chicken was grilled, but not that day, very cold and tough. Vegetables were fresh but toppings were very stale. Staff was friendly, got tag teamed by two, Didn't get asked about refills til we were ready to go. Would probably order something else next time."

"This is a great spot to visit if you are in the area. We stumbled upon it on our way back from Nerstrand Big Woods State Park. It is a charming restaurant with an extensive menu. Since we arrived after 4pm, we were able to enjoy their full dinner menu in addition to their regular offerings. We tried their Friday specials, the ribs dinner and fish platter, and both were fantastic. The ribs were tender and the fish was delicious, with just the right amount of batter and generous portions. Make sure to come hungry! The baby baked potatoes and beans were also tasty sides. And the desserts... amazing. They were homemade and delicious. Our cosmopolitans were also very enjoyable."

"No matter what Surf Taco I go to, there are always staff that do not have good customer service. I was disappointed that the beef tacos were not hard shell, that at least gives the tasteless beef some flavor. As always people sitting near the bar getthe best service. OH and I am sharing my table with the last persons leftovers. The staff could have easily taken it away whenshe served me my food, but instead left it with me."
