"Food was great something for everyone. Great drinks and variety of food choices. Servis was awful! We were a party of 7 I really was expecting stronger service. We ordered our drinks then Donna left to fill and return with the drinks. We then ordered ourappetizers and she did not return until she brought our starters? Took about 15-20 minutes for the starters to come out. Thestarters finally made it to the table. We then request to drink refills and then placed our order at which point she did notreturn until the orders were full. Again, we requested drink refills and then requested a drink menu to get adult beverages.Just a very disappointing service experience. We arrived at about 4:15 on a Wednesday afternoon. If there were two other tablesin the restaurant that the other server was attending to, we were the only table in her section. Felt like we were very ignored."

"3/5/20 Made Bar seating reservation for pre theater dining. Sat at the bar. Cocktails were very good. We decided to enjoy a couple of appetizers for our dinner. The lobster poutine was a great take on the traditional dish. On the other hand, the calamari was awful. The rings were small and over fried. When we told the bartender about the calamari, he took it off the bill without question. The food was slow in coming. Overall, a good experience and we’d recommend Mercy as a great place to go before attending any Orpheum performance."

"We have been here twice so far. Each time with friends. The service is swift and efficient. Our first visit was drinks and food (for 2 of the group). Our second was just drinks. On both occasions the bar was not hugely busy. They may have been less accommodating had they been full but we were left in peace beside regular can I get you anything? visits. An Irish bar in the US is nit an Irish bar. It is a halfway house between an Irish/British pub and an American bar. A happy medium. Food was good. Service good. I only had water in each occasion so can only go by comments from others but they were positive. One friend had Holy Water . I think it had four different t spirits in it !! Health warning required methinks. Will we return ? Who knows but I will be perfectly happy if we do."

"great eating, but very expensive for what it is. probably a good place to eat once or twice a year. also a thing that is surprised how kalorific is eating. 1200 calorie for 8oz steak with a tiny lobster and 2 spargel? 1400 calorie little cheesecake? everything must be cooked with tons of butter. they should completely reassess their menu. most of the things can be cooked easily with half of the calorie. so, most of them aren't worth the calorie. I mean, don't get me wrong things are tasty, but they're absolutely not the calorie in our opinion."

"The staff in this establishment handling take out order are the rudest we have ever experienced. My husband tried to call in an order, and after several minutes of the phone ringing with no answer he drove over to order. He mentioned to the young lady he tried to call, and the response was as you can see, we are busy . He placed our order. A few minutes past the time he was told the order would take, he approached the young lady and she automatically said it will be out when it 's ready with a very rude tone of voice. My husband asked to speak with her manager, and the manager didn 't see anything wrong with how he was treated. As my husband exited this establishment, he heard the young lady make the same statement in the same tone to the next customer approaching her it will be out when it 's ready . This team requires serious customer service training, and we will never return again to this place across the street from our home."

"Went with my wife for third time. Always liked the not so usual food choices, priced bottled wine on Thursdays, and the fact the restaurant is owned by churches (no tipping, but you can make a donation). The wait staff has always need barely okay. Usually inexperienced and not very attentive. However, I think the restaurant goes out of its way to hire the unemployable, so I am okay with the friendly inexperienced servers. However, for this trip, my wife’s steak was over cooked and her fries cold, so we sent it back. The replacement meal was perfect. That night my wife and I both had stomach problems. The only food we shared that day was her steak dinner and the fruit de mer seafood appetizer. I think one of those made us sick. Needless to say, I doubt we return. I hope no one else has the same experience."

"On the website it seemed to say that you get a bottle of Wyclif Champagne for but it is per person. The Jambalaya was dry. I cook Cajun often and compare my cooking to others. There was no desert station which was disappointing, but our waiter brought us cinnamon buns which was nice. They should go to Mere Bulles and see what a real brunch looks like. Our waiter was awesome. Adon I think was his name. My husband is a brew judge and was disappointed in their selection. We went with two other friends, so all in all it was a good experience despite the lack of brunch choices. Would not recommend for brunch but for dinner it is nice."

"The male owner treats his employees poorly, I'm surprised he doesn't have more sexual harassment cases against him. My niece worked for this place but quit after the owner and cook both made sexual comments towards her and when confronted they denied it. Other employees apparently have had similar issues as well. Don't support a business that only hires people to make inappropriate sexual advances towards them."

"Out-of-towner experience- The food was spectacular… we had the Caesar salad (yummy, one of the best we’ve ever tried), fried rice (tofu was perfectly cooked and small pieces), cheeseburger (my husband said it was in the top 3 he’s ever eaten and even the pickle garnish was mouthwatering), bolognese pizza (heavenly), pepperoni pizza (delicious and the crust was so, sooo good), crispy potatoes (I don’t know how to describe them other than PERFECT and the chimichurri dipping sauce was out of this world), powdered donut ice cream lemon meringue ice cream (both deserts were creamy and not too sweet we just couldn’t fully enjoy them bc we were stuffed with all the other amazing food. Absolutely DIVINE!! We also ordered quite a few drinks but those really weren’t a hit for us personally but if you like quirky combinations maybe it will be right up your alley. The atmosphere was so fun, loved the arcade games, and we had fabulous wait staff. We will be back to visit before our trip ends and we would fly back to Buffalo just to visit this establishment again. I just wish I could give it a 10 star review bc it deserves it."

"The Ribs, Chicken wings and fries were very good. The oyster Po'boy was very disappointing lacked seasoning and flavour the batter was not crispy. The Po'boy was a real let down as the rest of the food was very good as were the cocktails, it is really not hard to make a good Po'boy. We sat outside which was fine but not a lot of atmosphere. The Service was good, efficient and functional but nothing more. Should have been asked if we need more drinks during the meal which weren't. Potential to be really good but let down by a couple of things that really are not hard to fix."

"I am not very particular when it comes to food, but I was hungry and looking for a satisfying meal, only to leave feeling disappointed. Typically, if I have a bad experience at a restaurant, I am willing to give it another try, but I don't think I will be returning to this place. The staff seemed disinterested and did not provide good service. We ordered the famous queso appetizer for $6, but it was the smallest portion of queso I have ever seen, and it was mostly sausage rather than cheese. Additionally, we came specifically for the ribs, as I had heard they were excellent here. However, when we tried to order them, we were informed that they were unavailable. It would have been helpful to know this before we sat down, especially since it is a popular item on the menu. I ended up ordering the double shrimp pasta instead, and while the flavors were decent, the shrimp was severely overcooked. As a shrimp enthusiast, this made the dish very unappetizing for me."

"it is a beautiful dachbar. the personal was not a luster. they seemed overworked and tired and they had just opened. I felt that they just didn't want to be there. "I had high hopes for Ole Savannah, given that it's hard to go wrong with Southern comfort food, and the its location on the banks of Esopus Creek. But from the minute the bland, watery cocktails arrived, lunch was expensive and disappointing. There was only one server covering the entire floor, my order was wrong, my partner's entree was overcooked, my father-in-law waited 10 minutes for ketchup for his fries. Overall, it's a nice place to go to enjoy a beer on the patio in the summer, but the food doesn't justify its NYC prices by a long shot."

"Terrible experience overall. We had an 8pm reservation. The man who approached up was dressed so casually (track suit or similar) that I thought he was a bar patron, not an employee. We were seated quickly and out waiter greeted us in a timely fashion and we ordered drinks. After a long wait another server came over to take our drink order. We told her we already placed our drink order. “I’m going to be your server now and I don’t know what you like!’ “But we already ordered. “ “But I’m your new server and I don’t know what you like.” “Do you mean a food order?” “No I mean a drink order. I’m your server and I don’t know what you like.” So we ordered our drinks again. Then several minutes later the guy who took our initial drink order came back to our table without our drinks and asked if we were ready to order our food. Now exasperated I told him that someone else said she was our server now and took our drink order again and recommended he go talk to her. Then I added that we would just have our drinks and then go elsewhere. After another 10 minute wait with no drinks in sight, we walked out. It was like an alternate universe in there. There was one other new table in our half of the restaurant and about five tables that were already eating. There were many open tables. It was not even remotely busy for a Saturday night at 8pm. Had been there once when they first opened and I liked it. Only upside to the entire experience is that in our rush to leave my boyfriend left his phone on the table. We did not realize this until much later that night when we got home. To my amazement when he went back the next day they had it and gave it them. So there’s that. Went to Velo instead and had a lovely meal served by Andrew who made us forget the unpleasantness that had transpired."

"exceptional food and excellent service! we had the srf american wagyu special for LSC members and it was melt in her mouth tender and perfectly cooked. the golden pineapple and x-plane drinks were delicious and expertly designed and the truffle flower mash was the best I ever had! the location is also cool, in downtown, but they feel transported to an old time chat house, with the restaurant location under days. look forward to the next great meal there!"
