"I wanted to come here to the Father's Day. It's been over two years since we were here last, and we sat in the Hibachi grill with other families as usual. But we didn't talk much about the rest (which I would have liked). I think the pandemic still keeps people in a distance and that's okay. Our orders were taken over. Soon our cook arrived with all supplies for our table and then the show started: spinning and throwing his fork and spatula, big flames from grill to vent hood, small flaming onion rings, and other tricks that are quite standard tariff for Hibachi Grills. One thing that the chef didn't do was try to throw food in our mouth... which was a welcome loss of performance, in the opinion of my family. A bit surprising, our cook was a low key than expected, but still fun and even more important, very good at grilling for 9 people at once. Soup, salad with ginger dressing, roasted rice, 2 grilled shrimps and vegetables come with all Hibachi meals. I think fried rice is the outstanding piece of this ensemble, but everything is good. Each of us then got exactly what we ordered grilled according to our specifications... I played it safe and went for the chicken and steak combo, others with me had chickens and swordfish. Overall, everything was great: the food was cooked to our taste, the sauces were delicious, the performance was fun, and it is always good to see your food prepared only inch from your plate on a hot grill. The Hibachi prices are higher than we usually spend for a lunch, but certainly reasonable for this kind of meal and atmosphere, especially on a father's day, where a generous daughter walks the bill. If you've never been here before or you missed it during the pandemic, you owe it to yourself to check it now."

"1. The young lady who assisted me was a bit curt and didn’t smile. While she wasn’t outright rude, I found it a bit frustrating when I thought she was helping me, only to discover she was suddenly on the phone, leaving me to talk to myself. Another young woman also informed me that she was on a call and would assist me once she was free. It was a bit embarrassing, to say the least (lol)! 2. Is there a global shortage of uni (sea urchin) right now? If I recall correctly, the last time I tried to order uni, they didn't have it either. This evening, I faced the same issue. I then asked for red snapper, only to receive the same response: they were out of that as well. I was left wondering, "What else do you have then?" LOL! On a positive note, there were some highlights: 1. I really appreciated the restaurant's interior; the wood decor creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The sushi bar had a lovely ambiance, enhancing the overall dining experience. 2. The sushi/nigiri pieces were a good size. I've been to many sushi restaurants where the rice portions are excessively small, seemingly an attempt to cut costs. This place is an exception—I was genuinely pleased with every piece I ordered. The yellowtail, saba, and scallops all tasted incredibly fresh. 3. The sushi chefs were welcoming and kind. As I was leaving, both chefs expressed their gratitude with a nice thank you. This review sums up my experience on Thursday, June 8, 2023. I understand that every restaurant has its good days and not-so-good days, and I still support this one. It remains one of my go-to spots in the DTC neighborhood."
