"Haku Sushi is located in the heart of Santa Rosa. Being new to the area I am always on the hunt for a sushi spot, lucky I came across Haku. Parking can be a bit tricky on a busy day since street parking is always crazy but on not busy days it's a breeze and tons of open meter parking available, they also have a parking garage right across the street if needed. Service was great, the staff that helped me was very welcoming and gave me time to over look the menu and patiently waited till I was ready. The restaurant looked busy and I noticed tons of people also picking up orders to go. I finally placed my order and also got it to go so I can enjoy at home. Waited about 15/20 min and my food was ready. I did noticed not only is it a sushi restaurant they also have some type of Korean menu as well, so I feel like they offer more than just sushi but I didn't ask or explore to much more. Just make sure you come hungry, they do have a good selection to choose from. I ordered 3 rolls and some veggie tempura, I would say the prices are a bit higher than what I'm used to paying back home but I know inflation is real and everything in Sonoma County seems to cost more. I will say, the rolls were delish! They were worth the price, The quality and quantity were outstanding. If you find yourself looking for sushi and are in the area, I highly recommend you stop by. FYI: TOGO 20% off on cash payment. DINE IN 10% OFF on cash payment Enjoy! SYoY :"

"Best sushi in town. Osumashi soup is delicious! Prices are amazing. Great service!Editing 4 years after my initial review:STILL the best sushi in michiana! Great prices, lovely atmosphere, and always exceptional service. I come pretty frequently (anytime I crave) for lunch or dinner, and consistency is key here. My food has always been on point, and (if you’ve looked over the bad reviews) for what it’s worth, I’ve NEVER been sick from anything here. Come on people. I even had to use the bathroom before leaving, and it was very clean. I have never noticed anything dirty, and I generally have strong attention to detail. The staff are very friendly-always greeting with a smile-even when busy. This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Mishawaka. I would encourage anyone to give them a try. You won’t be disappointed. Vegetarian options: There are lots of options to choose from. The menu is decently large, but not overwhelming. Dietary restrictions: I don’t have any, but have dined here with someone who did and there were no issues. Parking: Big parking lot-no payment necessary. Kid-friendliness: They have a ton of options that wouldn’t “scare” kids from eating here. Lots of vegetarian, chicken, and steak dishes. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp/no step-up/ leading up to the restaurant. Inside there are tables not just booths where wheelchair accessibility would be considered. The tables and walkways are spacious-easily maneuverable for wheelchair accessibility."

"I first went to Haiku when they first opened and their food and service was good. However, over the years the food quality and service has deteriorated and even worse for today, 7/29/22, when I went to Haiku in White Plains with co-workers for lunch. We ordered our lunch immediately and advised the server we were pressed for time since we only had a one hour lunch. We literally arrived at 1:05pm. We asked for our drinks, ginger ale and two waters with lemon and waited. They finally brought our drinks at 1:30pm and we asked the server how long for our food. Six tables came after us and received their food immediately, it was 1:45pm and the only other food that came were the soups associated with our meals. We waited until 1:50pm when the server came over with one of my co-workers meal and gave the excuse the other two dishes were still being prepared. My co-worker requested utensils and was completely ignored but instead had the check literally dropped on the table next to her. We asked if we would receive a comp for such poor service and the server advised no, the food was coming out and walked away! I personally thought what restaurant serves meals at a table piecemeal!? We waited five minutes and saw another table which had arrived ten minutes before our status check receive their lunch meal. We called the server over and asked what seemed to be the issue with our lunch and she advised the other people had ordered sushi and we pointed out other tables of rice and lunch meals who came after our group. We asked to have our food to go and she advised it would take some time to prep the food to go! We couldn't believe it, we walked over to the manager, who suddenly could not understand our complaint. We left the food behind and just left. We were very disappointed with the service we received at Haiku. I had made up my mind to stop going there years ago, but only went there today at the request of my coworkers. Never again will I go to Haiku, much less recommend it to the myriad of people I know. Did I mention the server spilled a full glass of water and tried to make it seem it was our fault!? I am so disappointed I rate it 0"
