"I ordered the prime rib sandwich, and to put it mildly, it was inedible due to the excessive fat and gristle. The mashed potatoes tasted strange—while they were edible, something just wasn’t right. The fried okra was also inedible. Thankfully, the chicken strips were quite good and came in a large portion, allowing my girlfriend and I to make them our meal. We also tried the funnel cake fries, which were delicious. I’m not sure if it was just an off night or if this is typical, where some dishes are enjoyable while others are not acceptable. If someone we trust who frequently visits the place reassured us that this was an unusual experience, we might consider giving it another try, especially because of the great service and fun atmosphere. However, for now, we won’t be returning. I cannot emphasize enough how unpleasant the prime rib sandwich was. In hindsight, we should have asked for a refund or chosen something else from the menu, but that's not usually our style. We see it as a learning experience and have decided to move on."

"had not ordered a doria in years, literally, and since I felt like eating rice, I ordered the mixed mushroom doria. first bite, it brought back beautiful memories of pastness. the dish was tasty and tasteful only I remembered it from a few years ago. Hubby, who repeatedly says whether it is not broken, ordered his usual sausage mushroom pasta with fried onions additionally . he had no complaining. would recommend this restaurant to any foodman who is ready to taste Japanese Italian fusion pasta."

"We booked a 2 person igloo and was put in a cold make shift shack next to the igloos. We watched another 2 party go into one of the available igloos and told our server our situation that we had paid for one of them and don’t want to eat in their shack. She looked to be moving things around in the last free available igloo when another server placed a party of 5 in it. Our server came back and said that our reservation said a party of 5 and that there were no available igloos. We decided to eat inside and later talked to the manager. Manager apologized for the mistake and was also confused why they placed us there. He said it did show we were a party of 2 and that the only way to be placed in the shack would have been if we called and agreed to sit there. He also mentioned they only use it for parties over 5 and there must have been a mix up. Our server inside was great and food was good. The manager was also very nice and comped our drinks, ultimately we did not have to pay the igloo fee. Was very disappointed about not being in the igloo but the food and ambiance was still very nice."

"Great place for hosting events, they had loads of FREE semi-secluded spaces for any size or kind of event! The staff were great to work with- Shelley and Elise were truly accommodating after an accidental miscommunication yielded more food than we expected. The board room had A/V capabilities which made our event a success. The tavern is centrally located downtown near Coors Field with a solid amount of affordable parking nearby. If you’re looking for a casual meeting place, this is a great choice!"

When we moved here 6 1/2 years ago, our goal was to try every restaurant at least once…but we found ourselves going back to temptations whenever we wanted a guaranteed good meal! "Our first time at this wonderful spot. My party of 5 were promptly seated in a cozy nook in the rear of the restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised how private and inviting it looked and felt. We were greeted by our lovely server who treated us impeccably from start to finish. As for the food, nothing short of wonderful. I myself had the Chicken Rollatini with a side of the Mushroom Risotto. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. Everyone loved their dinners which included Veal Parmigiana and Baked Rigatoni, The big hit of the table clearly was the Angry Pork Milanese. It was out of this world. All and all, a wonderful dining experience. One note, there is live music every Sunday 5-8pm in the bar area. While we enjoyed the music for the most part, it can become quite loud when the patrons seated in the bar sing a long . We were seated in the rear of the restaurant so it was not too loud but it may be a bit of a disturbance if seated close to the bar area."

"Second, we were seated at three different tables, each with its own dedicated server. Our team, consisting of Lauren, Mabel, and Maggie, was friendly, attentive, and efficient. They proactively refilled our waters and sodas, answered our questions, and addressed the group's needs with ease. We pre-ordered appetizers, salads, entrees, and desserts, working from a shorter, pre-set menu. The Porterhouse has firmly secured a spot on our list of top dining venues."

"DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE. As a hometown resident of Haddonfield, I have been dining at the restaurant now known as The Bistro for years, dating back to when it was called 59 East. With news of new management at The Bistro, my family decided to visit this morning. We invited a close friend to meet our newborn baby. However, upon our friend's arrival, who happens to be African American, a restaurant staff member approached us and incorrectly assumed he was trying to sell items to patrons. This blatant act of racism left us stunned and speechless. If I were in charge, I would immediately terminate the employee responsible for such behavior. My family, along with those we have shared this experience with, will not be returning to The Bistro."
