"Hands down, this is the best bakery in Honolulu, and I feel like I've discovered heaven. If you haven't tried this place yet, you're really missing out. Don't overlook these talented bakers! The pastries are incredibly light and airy. I'm already trying to figure out how to take a dozen of the banana nut and pineapple treats home—OMG, they're amazing! The staff is so friendly, and there are so many great local shops around. I always prefer to support local businesses while I'm on the island! I’m definitely going to miss this place!"

"I was disappointed with the quality of service at Sonny's Donut Shop, and the kalochi had too much breading and lacked cheese, which made it less enjoyable. This was my second visit, and unfortunately, the experience was similar to my first. The employees don't engage much with customers; they simply take your order without any smiles or warmth. We are in a historic city known for its friendly people, so it's a shame that this place doesn’t reflect that vibe. I won’t be returning to Sonny's Donut Shop as I prefer a more welcoming atmosphere. I feel like I wasted my hard-earned money – I’m truly disheartened."
