"From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the hostess, who quickly seated us and presented us with a few menu options. She took our drink orders—coffee, which she promptly delivered. After dropping off the menus, she left us to decide what to order.
I ended up opting for my usual breakfast choice, one I've enjoyed in countless restaurants across the country, and the food was decent. However, what struck me most was the incredible multitasking of our server. She handled greeting new customers, taking orders, and delivering food to other tables all on her own. It hit me that this one person was managing the front of the house as a greeter, cashier, server, and busser, all while maintaining a cheerful demeanor and providing friendly service.
Out of curiosity, I asked her if she was working alone, and she mentioned there was someone in the kitchen, so she wasn't completely by herself. I was truly amazed. This woman deserves to be recognized as the patron saint of breakfast spots. She was outstanding, and I wish more servers were like her!"
