"Pat and Toni's is my favorite store for a sweet-treat in Deland. I took my Mom here while we were shopping-about and we kind of went nuts, lol! We both bought about $20 in hand-made chocolate pieces and also purchased some ice cream. We just happened to luck out and be here on a Tuesday. The sweet girl working in the ice cream section informed us that on Tuesday if you use cash to purchase ice cream, you can receive one scoop for just $2. Also, if you pay in an amount more than what the ice cream cost, let's say $5 they will give you a $2 bill as part of your change, very cool! We took the bait thinking this was going to be a dinky little scoop, but nope, it was an impressive scoop; definitely enough to satisfy our sweet tooth. I decided on the salted caramel brownie and it was amazing. Some of the hand-crafted chocolate I chose on this day included chocolate covered bacon, dark Oreo balls, cherry cordials, pumpkin truffles, dark eggnog truffles, white dark chocolate haystacks, the almond butter crunch, and the dark raspberry truffles. Nancy and I snacked on all of their goodies for a week or so and can testify under oath that all of these items were delicious. The only thing Nancy wasn't crazy about was the chocolate covered bacon, but that is fine by me because I wanted that one anyways. Pat and Toni's also have a large selection of hard, chewable, and soft candy for sale-by-weight too. While we were here, we noticed that staff are great at rotating stock and selling items going out of season like the pumpkin spice products for BOGO. Pat and Toni's have a good thing going and if you love chocolate like me than this is the place for you. If you happen to be in the downtown Deland area, I highly recommend you stop in to check them out."
