"This is one of the best Italian restaurants I've visited, including NYC and those in Italy! Now I know why it is considered the best in SWFL. I would have rated it 6? if my wife or I could have had our favorite dishes; specifically, Chicken Cacciatore and Pasta Carbonara. We got our second favorites Penne alla Vodka and their Spaghetti Al Brendy and they were excellent. Lastly the wait staff was fun and attentive (but not hovering). All in all 150% of what I was hoping for! Mille grazie"

"I love Marine Park Coffee. As a young person in Marine Park, I feel we were really missing a trendy place to grab a bite and a drink on the go. The backyard patio is really sweet to sit quietly. John and the rest of the staff are super friendly and accommodating they feel like old friends! I love ordering ahead of using their partner app, Odeko. I also appreciate their punch card system offers! I go so often that the free 10th drink is awesome. Thanks!"

"We had reservations for 700pm on a Saturday night and waited for quite a bit of time to be seated. The staff did a great job moving customers to a table as quickly as they could, served the waiting customers an appetizer and offered to serve drinks while we waited. There was an authentic attempt to be apologetic about the wait and to make the customers comfortable. We almost left, but so glad we did not. Once we were seated, the service was top notch. Our server was friendly and very accommodating. Food was equally excellent. Try their poblano meatballs and smoked wings as an appetizer-they are sure to please. If you arrive and the wait is a little long, it will be worth the wait!"

"Michael Symon, if you read this, you'll surprise me! I always have the “Fat Doug”, as it is one of my favorites. Today my server has suggested the monthly special called “Cuban!” To Him for GOOD! Perfectly boiled burgers up with, hover, ham, pulled pork, deep fried pimple and a hot spicy mustard! The free pig slaughters were a plus. If I had any suggestions, please return to the menu of your version of the “Cincinnati Chili” you once served. Good food!"

"When you first walk in everything is beautifully laid out and everything looks Devine! However, once we were inside it was very hard to get service and the staffs attitude was poor. The guy helping us seemed annoyed with the couple of simple questions I had and simply ignored the compliment I gave. We ordered several different cake slices, cheesecake bars, peris brest, and a sticky bun.CAKES:The cakes all had a very very mild flavor. The oreo had 2 layers of chocolate cake and a vanilla in between. The chocolate cake was hardly chocolate tasting at all but the texture was nice. The chocolate cake in the oreo cake honestly tasted like a box cake mix but even those have more chocolate flavor...The buttercream they have is excellent.The lemon cake, same thing. It was almost like the cake was a simple vanilla and the buttcream that went along with it had a beautiful texture but you could hardly taste any lemon.The peanut butter cake was very dry and almost stale. But the buttercream was well flavored with a reeses flavor and had nice texture to it. We just ended up scraping the frosting off to use with pretzels later.CHEESECAKE:The oreo and chocolate Cheesecake were some of the best cheesecakes we have ever had! Very dense but creamy and well blended flavors throughout the Cheesecake bars. Very rich NY style with lovely crusts. We will definitely keep coming for those!PERIS BREST:The peris brest was just not good. First off, it should not be called a peris brest it is more of a giant filled cream puff. Every part of it was bad to me. The pâte à choux dough seems overworked because it was very very tough. The pastry cream inside was too thick and dense. The sliced strawberries were on their last leg and hardly ok to serve. The Whipped cream was over Whipped and had a lumpy and gross texture with no sweetness to it. We just threw it out after failing to find some type of redeeming quality about it.STICKY BUNOh my goodness! I highly recommend buying like 12 of these because they are phenomenal! They have used what I believe to be a puff pastry type dough and was beautifully glazed and sticky. The chew factor on the sticky sweet outside was just what I was craving and will be getting more in the future!Bottom line some things are done extremely well while other treats are lacking. To summarize, if you are looking for an intense flavor in your cake, this isn't the place. But if frosting is your thing then you're in the right place. Everything is beautifully decorated and delicious to the eyes but just simply lacks flavor to back it up."

"chef rick bayless has the best restaurants! xoco was a great experience and eating was phenomenal. the beans-to-coup authentic hot chocolate was excellent. the taste was rich and it brought a smile into my face on a rainy chicago day. also the pepito torta was excellent. the combination of barbacoa, caramelized wobble and cheese is one of my favorite and the tomatillo salsa brings it home. I am always impressed by frontera restaurants. the service is also great as I sat immediately and my order came very fast. xoco is highly recommended!"

"Came here for dinner with the family and to have the prime rib. Prime rib comes in 10, 12, and 16 ounce portions and you have the option to add lobster. Although the meat quality was good, one of our orders was badly overcooked and the meat was too dry as if it hadn't sat in the juices long enough. The strong point here is the service which is attentive and very pleasant. Overall dinner was relaxing, the food was okay, and the service was very good."
