"our family met in primal to enjoy brunch together. I have asked our reservation for 10 of us 6 adults and 4 children (3 small.) I asked the private room, if available, because of the small one. we were often in primal and have often been in the private room, so I thought the question was good. when we arrived, there was a table for 10 of us, but not in the private room, and not for 3 small children, as desired. Nobody used the private room. the manager came out and told us that the separate it area now has a minimum of $200. we were not informed before the time, and we were not sure what we would spend, so we simply took the table that they set up for us. the manager also told us that the sum of $200 does not contain the top. that was interesting because the tipp is included with a party of 6 people or more. our reservation was at 11:00 o'clock. we asked if we could order food for the little ones immediately, and they were very compatible with it. the child food came to the table at 12:05.... about an hour later. our food came to the table at 12:15 o'clock, and half of us had cold food. I felt bad for our waitress. she did the best she could with an extremely slow kitchen. since eating was so late, a few muffins would have been nice to keep the children. at one point we looked around and no table at the restaurant had to eat. they can see the kitchen, and the chefs had absolutely zero sense for drenchness. I am glad that the working atmosphere is relaxed, but with eating come over an hour later than the order, I would think they would step it a bit. the sanitation class was 94, that is the minimum I will go. my daughter in the law got kartoffeln with her order and got about a third of what they usually serve. I am disappointed because our family has always enjoyed brunch there, but we will not return."

"I never write a negative assessment unless it is really deserved. I therefore decided to write about the dinner in the baker house. we have been sitting in the sea for 25 years and have sung over every restaurant in this time. we started over 20 years ago when it was Gilbert 's. Gilbert 's was a fine restaurant with high quality food and service for many years. since the conclusion of the room had different places from different restaurants to a murder mystery theme, etc. on the last Friday night we drove the city and realized how pretty the baker house was lit and my wife looked them out in the internet. the menu looked great and they raised their tentative prime rib special with a picture of a perfectly boiled prime rib. we've kept for the next night. we went early so we could have a drink in the bar that was so beautiful when it was gilberts. we went in and it had bad smell and was worn and had lacquer chips of walls. the bartender was very nice, but we were glad that our table was ready. the different rooms looked pretty and we sat on a table with a very nice server. we ordered a bottle of wine while we viewed the menu. they even gave us a card with the evening specialties with the same great photo of the urrib and also a special filet oscar. I ordered the nativity and my wife the act oscar. the Caesar salad and the French woof soup were good. the most important courses were absolutely terrible. the main rib was gray in color and about a third fat. I had a hard time cutting a piece of meat and when I did it, it was gray on the outside and raw on the inside. that tells me that the brat sat in the kitchen and came as a command, he was microwaved. my wife did not come with crumb meat on the top, but with a floury crumbcake. the filet itself was not hot from a grill as it was prefabricated and warmed up. I should have told the manager something, but we just wanted to go home. we spent over $300 with dinner and the bar drink."
